:nods: yup ^_^.. Me and paul where just talking about possably making a second oekaki too. But we arnt FULLY sure on it so please be pashent =3..
We also hit a new record of veiwers and I have to wonder if it's due to PJN going so well on the site =D. Three days ago we had 16 guest members come in through the day and they each had different Ip addresses.

Yeah, PJN pushed up MMC and Smeargle's hits because of the front-page mention. Hope it helped ;D

Lol It did, We got howling wolf from Eevzy's( the bigest pokemon oekaki) And 15 members from Pokemonmasters X3..
Now that we have those other plans. We should get more hits for schooling on oekaki o.o.. My work has it on their computers so it should do alright XD.

Ooohhh I'm very very happy. Now we can have two oekakies when we need them =3.. Oddly enough it's comming to a point that we really do need one Oo.. SO I'm making a new banner X3.

I think my Wings the smeargle should be on the banner of the other oekaki, in sketch style.

:nods: Super active is good but when it makes it so that people can't get comments for their art, or you spend hours a day going through doodles just looking for a great drawing. It can become quite hard to actualy enjoy a oekaki and after about three pages you give up looking. I did that and if howling voice didint IM me she would have never been archived for a piece that was more then worth my efferts.
It's best to keep doodles in a area for playing with. And a place for new oekakiers to learn how to draw without being worried about master artists giving them crits. So the new oekaki will revolve around the two. The new artists can still come to smeargles canvas but unlike SR the new artist don't have to do any of that try out bid. They can come in as they please and if they don't want the expert crits they can choose for themselfs to go back to the playground. And Artists like kiki can go to the playground do doodle her heart out without pressing other art down. This way artists get equal care and a learning prossess can be met. I know alot of new artists that have come to smeargles canvas but desided not to draw cause their scared of the expert comments. So the playground will be made for them to know the oekaki and the community. Then they can do what they want later rather it's staying in the playground or going to smeargle's.
I would have liked to keep it as a huge community but it's sometimes buckling and too many active people can cause the whole oekaki to shut down. We almost reached that point on the 20th and if it happened the oekaki still wouldint be open now. So two oekakies will slow the rate and alow the oekakie's server to balance activity. This will also get us more hits and make both of them really active. Cause insted of saying no to doodles, we say yes and welcome them warmly along with new artist and a schooling program.
As for the banner I'm still not sure but I'll keep your idea in mind chriz =D. I do have the maroon sketch of the smeargles canvas banner.
