Relic Begins With the Hunt
for the "Merines"...
Adrift on an endless, raging sea, Senel Coolidge and his sister Shirley find themselves drawn ashore a mysterious ship. Known as the Legacy, it is an ancient relic that conceals countless dangers - including those who lie in wait for Shirley.
To save his sister, Senel and his party uncover the deepest secrets of a legendary ship, and in the process, discover the ties that bind them all.
Take strength from friendship. Take pride in love. Take everything that you believe in - and turn it all to power.

That was taken from the back of the Tales of Legendia box. It's yet another of the many 'Tales of' games developed by Namco. From what I've looked at and read about, it looks to be as good as Tales of Symphonia. There's a good many differences, including the abilities. I'll just list them...
--The techs are not called as such anymore. They're now called 'Ares'. I only know of three types. Iron, Crystal, and Arcane Eres.
--There's two parts to the story, the Main Scenario and the Character Quests.
--Powerful monsters will in appear in areas in a dungeon called 'Chaotic Zones'.
--Puzzle Booths allow you to warp from ducts found in dungeons only after a puzzle is solved.
--You can combine items in Workshops to create new items, uncluding some powerful equipment.
Those are just a few of the differences between the two games. I have yet to play it, but it looks awesome.
