You knew this was coming, in fact, you were waiting for it.
I dunno about you guys, but I'm beggining to beileve that there are, I repeat, there are TOO MANY LEGENDARIES.
My god... especilly with Diamond AND Pearl coming out o-o It's like.. six... in the D/P, and may I remind you about all the OTHER legendaries ( Mew, Celebi, Jirachi..) ?
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we shouldn't have legendaries at all, as a matter of fact, I love them. I'm really just stating the obvious, we have too many legendaries and in my opinion, having so many legendaries... really.. doesn't seem to make them all... legend.. like.
It just seems to take the legend out of legendaires, soon we'll begin to expect millions more and soon it won't even be interesting to get them. Soon we'll probably be like 'Who-hoo... another legendary...yay.....this is becoming bull-'
Yeah, fill that part in folks, you know you want to :D
Anyways, what is your opinion on this little topic of mine?
Yeah. I mean too many legendaries is BAD!!! I like baby legendaries though!

I haven't seen them, baby legendaries? -goes to check-
Actually, there are 12 legendarys. I think they should make more Pokemon that are more useable throughout the main story of the game. Legendarys are just used to train and beat the crap out of everybody after you beat the Elite 4. There are way too many legendarys, and it is bad. This is more legendarys that Kanto and Johto combined...
Yes, that's what I mean o-o we need more rare pokemon and one would think legendary = RARE
But no, they practically give them out now, and it makes legendaries common..
Why couldn't they just have like one legendary in each version. Diaruga in Diamond and Parukia in Pearl, simple enough?
Well, I coul understand having the special version too :/ I mean think, it was always kinda nice.
But I mean, I think they need to slloooww down on the legends << and make SOME but not all, rare and slightly harder to get...
I mean, that way the gamers can enjoy it and it would make the whole 'gotta catch them all' goal.. a little more fun and harder.
Well, this is just me, but Legendaries tend to follow patterns. You get a Trio and then a Lv 70 partner to that trio. And, as of the Advanced Generation, you get unique Triads.
Besides, have you ever tried to catch that stupid Celebi? Don't get me wrong it's cute (the least cute of all legendaries) but unless you pre-ordered that Japanese disk fo Colisseum, it's extremely hard to get it. Near-impossible infact!
"Oh, this is a Nintendo Event. Come and get your free Jiraachi/Deoxys/Manaphy/etc - Celebi? Oh no, we don't believe in giving out Grass Legendaries!"
Although, the new ones that have come out ARE rather unique. First that Steel/Fire type Hiidoran (coolest ever), then the Dragon/Ghost type Guillotina (gives me the willies), the Dark Legendary, then there's Arserus-thigny (creator Pokemon) and then there's Manaphy and it's baby-version inferior; Fione.
I like a lot of the new Legendaries, though I can't stand Pure Psychic types as they are just too common.
Actually, they gave out Celebi on the Journey Across America Tour.
I agree that there are too many legendaries and I haven't even seen the D/P Pokemon yet -_-
I agree with having 1 special legendary (Mew, Celebi, Jirachi), a trio (birds, dogs, regis etc.) and then one pair (Lugia/Ho-Oh) or one singular (Mewtwo). Hoenn had two pairs and two singulars which is way too many. Dunno what D/P have yet, but hopefully not as much as Hoenn.
There are too many now. They are supposed to rare beings but at this rate you'll meet one straight after getting your starter. I don't mind introducing new ones but not too many. There should one for each version, a special for a third of that trio and a trio itself. So a Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza and the Regis. Maybe a runner once in a while and an event Pokémon.
