I know I'm getting the basic core system of the 360...so such it won't come with the HD cables..will the graphics still look great...or look like PS2 graphics? Call of Duty 3 as an example it possible please.
Also, does the basic version come with a trial of Xbox-live.
(the basic one is the green box BTW)
The graphics should look great no matter what TV you play it on. Hi-Def or not should be fine.
I'm not sure about X Box Live but it probably should.
I'm just saying you need Hi-deg cables on a hi-def TV to get the HD graphics. So they still look good with normal AV cables?
Well it won't look hi-def but you probably won't see too much difference anyway.

There is a massive difference..............absolutely massive.......Xbox 360 graphics are nothing special on a normal definition tv..........get HD cables, for a best gaming experience possible..............

They're nothing special at all. Personally I think if you're going to go out and buy a Hi-Def TV for a game (Where it won't make a heck of a lot of difference) then either you have deep space in your pockets or deep space in your head.

If you already have a hi-def tv, get the hd cables..........if you don't have hi-def, don't bother with anything, just get the 360 and play with "pre-generation graphics", seriously, have you seen a 360 on a normal def tv, uhh, it's horrible!
People only really buy a 360 to get a good gaming experience.....but it will be no where near as good if you don't have hi-def...........

From what I gather, Hi-Def will give you less blocky images at a higher res. But all in all you most likely won't spot a huge difference. You won't get a perfect performance out of either HD or SDTV. At least, not 'till SDTV is extinct.
If you have the hi-def TV already, I say go get the cable for it, as it'll probably work out easier. But I wouldn't go out and buy one just to play the stupid console.

but have you seen a 360 on a normal tv, it's all fuzzy, pixels out of place, and no, it's not just the tv....

Yeah i think you get a month trail of silver membership status......at least in OZ.......with the normal pack you get a gold membership, i heard it's pretty cool, but the wii online will be better.......hihi.....
