According to Japanese Magazine Famitsu, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl have passed the five (5) million units mark. Since launch on September 26, 2006, it has eclipsed all of its predecessors in a mere three (3) months.

This is really cool and impressive, did Spinarak post it 5 times? Oh well if it did, it's fixed now. But 5 million is awesome, this game is going to sell loads everywhere else too and it's only been 3 months, so there's plenty more to come.
it was highly expected lol, since it is such a good game, and it has lots of new Pokemon.
Actually LOTS of new Pokémon to me is a put off. Heck I'm trying to get my mind around Hoenn. But that's impressive. 5 million. My guess for this is the DS internet capability.
For some reason I don't like the idea that it's sold better than all the other Pokemon games o.o Though I suppose it's a good thing for Pokemon as a whole ^^;
Well, that means I'll get the copy I won in a comp a bit later, but hey, 5 million copies! Perhaps if they get enough money they can invest some money towards new Pokemon designers, that don't make them look like Digimon... But this is awesome!
Lol! They could also send some money to PUSA so that they can hire back the proper voice actors =P
Something tells me this isn't going to change. Nintendo/Gamefreak don't have that much to do with PUSA, to my understanding.
