When my and my friend were doing DS to DS on animal crossing the phone rang and it was all fuzzy and I couldn't hear anything so I hung up then later (when we were done) and it was completely normal.
In the manual it says the DS to DS emits radio waves do you think this set off the phone?
No i don't think so, i play ds multiplayer all the time.......nothing happens.........the phone and ds should be on different Frequencies...must have been the other persons phone..............but this is strange......
Well you'll have to have broadband (ADSL) to use wireless anyway (Unless it's LAN which I'm not terribly sure). ADSL filters should be preventing this. Was it over the internet or just next to each other?
Just next to each other I know wifi is okay with it because I have used it while talking to my mom on the phone
also i could make no calls while attempting to call someone with DS to DS
DS to DS. I wouldn't have thought LAN would mess with it.
But alas, Nintendo's FAQ has answered it:
Quote:Our experience has shown that the majority of problems with wireless multiplayer gaming are caused by signal interference from other devices (wireless LAN, microwave ovens, cordless devices, computers). We recommend moving to another location or turn off the interfering device.
I imagine phones would be in that list too.
Ah yes I remeber reading this somewhere.
Also do not use with in 9 inches of a cardiac pacemaker my grandma has one of those.
Anyway problem solved
Yeah, I suggest next time you go see grandma you stay 9 inches away.

Remember to check the destruction booklet next time.
