Mt. Moon Community

Before you read, 5 (including myself) have joined. There is only room for one more. This isn't a role play, just PM me your character's name and Pokemon to join. Also, there are some Sinnoh Pokemon in this, but I'm using their Japanese names. Also, the character's name is Nick because that's my real name.

Chapter 1~
"Nick. Wake up Nick!" Nick's mom shouted as she shook him into a wakened state. Nick grumbled and climbed out of bed just long enough for his mom to leave his bedroom, then went back to sleep. "Nick! You're supposed to get your first Pokemon today!" she yelled in his ear. After realizing this didn't work, she poured icy water from the kitchen sink on his face. "AHHHHH! *gargled sounds*" Nick was surprised she had actually poured water on him this time (she had threatened it many times in the past). "Icy water, just like the Pokemon I'm getting, Piplup!" Nick exclaimed. He dressed himself, ate breakfast, brushed his teeth, and fed the family's pet Staryu before running out the front door and dashing to the Professor Edwin's house which was just down the street. On the way there, he noticed a Parasect chewing grass on one of his neighbor's lawn and children chasing Pidgeys in the street. Upon approaching Professor Edwin's house, he heard frustrated yells and shrieks of anger. He knocked on the door and waited for a response. "COME BACK!!!" Professor Edwin yelled from his backyard. Nick curiously climbed on top of Professor Edwin's tall wooden fence to see what the trouble was. There, Piplup, Turtwig, and Chimchar were fleeing the Professor! The Professor noticed Nick on top of the fence and called "Nick, the Pokemon have gotten away! Come help!" Nick hopped the fence and chased them down. He almost had them! Just about half a meter to go... No good, they escaped into a forest. "Crap! I'm so sorry Professor, I couldn't capture them." Nick said. "Nick, you are definitely in better shape than I. Will you take these Pokeballs and go recapture them?" the Professor asked. "Sure thing, but it will be difficult to get them when they have probably spread out in that forest." Nick replied. Nick explored the forest for a while, finding nothing. Then he noticed a shaking shrub. "Hiding behind a bush huh? I've got you now..." He dived inside the bush and fought for a while to stop the Pokemon from resisting. "Now who are you!?" He raised it out of the bushed and realized it was a Munchlax. "A Munchlax!" -_- "Munch! Munch!" it excitedly said. Nick ignored it and continued to search for the lost starters. The Munchlax was following him. "I'm going to need help recapturing them, so I'll need this Munchlax." He threw a pokeball at it and captured it.

Chapter 2~

"Where are those Pokemon? It's getting dark...." Nick said. Then, in the distance he heard a voice shout "Cool! A Chimchar! I must capture that!" "Finally, somebody found it." Nick said to himself. "Go Rioru!" the voice said. Nick followed the voice and saw a trainer fighting the Chimchar with a Rioru.

"Rioru, use quick attack!" the trainer ordered.
Chimchar used Tackle.
Rioru used Force Exert.
Chimchar used Counter.
Rioru used Bide.
Chimchar hit hard with Flamethrower.
Rioru at 1HP hit back with Bide and knocked Chimchar unconscious.
"Yes, you're MINE!" the trainer exclaimed. He threw a pokeball at it and caught it.

"Hey, great work. I was looking for that Pokemon." Nick said. "Thanks. My name's Tayo." Tayo explained. "Hey, can you help me find the other Pokemon that got away from Professor Edwin?" Nick asked. "Sure, but... isn't that them over there?" Tayo asked. Nick looked in the direction Tayo was pointing and saw Turtwig and Piplup running toward Professor Edwin's house. "Well, this little trip was pointless. No, I got a Munchlax out of it." Nick said. "Can you come with me to go tell Professor Edwin that we found Chimchar?" Nick asked. Tayo nodded his head and then they were off.

At Professor Edwin's house, he thanked them both for returning his Pokemon. "Nick, you may have Piplup and Tayo, you may have Chimchar. You're both trainers now. You may want to consider getting your gym badges. It's the experience all trainers simply must have!"

Yay, Chimchar is so cute! Oh, and can my Poliwag NEVER Become a Poliwrath OR Politoad? And never, EVER evolve my Rioru!

But CHimchar must become a Goukazaru!

Chapter 3~

"Sweet. I'm starting my adventure today! Hey Tayo, want to come with me for double battles?" Nick asked. "Sure. I'm starting my quest as a trainer today too." Tayo replied. "Let's start by fighting...." *looks at Professor Edwin's map of Celestia* "Stonus, of Dwarfstar town." Nick said. "Let's go," Tayo said.

*Nick and Tayo walk through the Professor's backyard forest to get to Dwarfstar town.*

"Hey Tayo, wanna have a battle?" Nick asked. "Sure. Poliwag hasn't trained much lately."

Nick sent out Munchlax
Tayo sent out Poliwag

Poliwag used Bubblebeam
Munchlax used Body Slam
Poliwag used Rain Dance
Munchlax used Body Meteor Impact
Poliwag moved but was still affected.
Munchlax used Thunderbolt.
Poliwag used Surf.
Both fainted and grew 2 levels each.

"Great match Tayo. But look at her over there, she has Dratini!" Nick said. Nick and Tayo both looked at the girl with a Turtwig and Dratini using attacks on different targets. "Great workout guys!" she said. "Turtwig? Where'd that come from?" Nick asked, since Turtwig is an incredibly rare Pokemon, and they hadn't seen her get it from Professor Edwin. "I got it from the professor. Instead of going through the forest like some knuckleheads, I just walked around it." ^^; "The names Surizo. Hey, as long as we are all new trainers, let's join together for some trainer adventures." Surizo brought back Dratini and Turtwig and they all trekked further toward the Dwarfstar town gym.

Chapter 4~

Nick, Tayo, and Surizo set out. Dwarfstar city was just up ahead. "I can't wait to get my badge. Munchlax will appreciate it too." Nick said. A loud rumbling sound happened and Munchlax jumped out of its ball. They all realized, they were starving from the hike to Dwarfstar town. "Munch!" Munchlax said as it ran off. "Hey Munchlax come back!" Nick called. He chased after Munchlax through a wide field and Munchlax finally bounded into a tree. All the cherries on the tree fell off and Nick realized it was just collecting food. "Hey, great job Munchlax!" said Nick. Munchlax picked up all of the cherries, and put them into its mouth. "Ah! Munchlax!?!? What the hell!?!?" Nick said shocked. It had found plenty of food and eaten all of it. "Phew," Nick said as he noticed the other many cherry trees. "Looks like you used a Headbutt to knock down those berries. Okay, Munchlax, use Headbutt!" Munchlax Headbutted another tree and Nick gathered the fruit before Munchlax could. "Sorry pal, you've had yours." Nick said. "Munchlax return," Nick said. On the walk back to the others Nick noticed a small four-legged creature running about. "Hey... a Tauros!" Nick exclaimed. "Go Munchlax!" he said as he freed Munchlax. "Okay Munchlax, use Body Meteor Impact!" Nick ordered only to find Munchlax was sleeping. -_- Needless to say the young Tauros escaped. Nick returned Munchlax and returned to the others. Surizo and Tayo were battling. Rioru vs. Turtwig

Rioru used Force Exert
Turtwig used Spore

*Turtwig is injured, Rioru is asleep*

Turtwig used Tackle.
Rioru woke up and used Karate Chop

Just a question, but do you want us to send you the pokemon we want our characters to eventually have, or do you just dicide? I don't really care, but just curious.

You can choose, but I do too. Your character specifically has something BIG coming to the team eventually. Everybody gets one. *coughlegendarycough*

LEGENDARY?!?!?!?!?!? I call Jirachi. Booyah, Wish Pokemon is mine! Bow-chika-wow-wow! *Dances stupidly* And if we get more than one Legendary, I want Latios.
