Ok, I don't watch pokemon that often and I have definatly not seen every episode but, I do notice that Ash rarely uses his pokemon from The Kanto and Johto episodes. I haven't seen any of his other pokemon show up in Advance Battle or Battle Frontier. I mean his Muk and Kingler I haven't seen in ages but they are still there? And I bet if he did get them back they would still be best friends despite tha fact he abandoned him with Prof. Oak for like four years!
Yeah he doesn't bring them back much because he likes to start all over again a lot, using only Pikachu. In the Battle Frontier he re-used loads however, Charizard, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Torkoal, Tauros, Snorlax & Heracross were all ones he recalled from Oak's Lab, Officer Jenny or the Charicific Valley. Muk and Kingler like it at the lab, especially Muk. PLu,s Ash doesn't need to use them much really.
I know but what about Bayleaf, Totodile, and Quilava. He forgot about them.

He hasn't forgotten them and Cyndaquil
never evolved. Plus, if he remembered every Pokémon, he'd never catch any new ones or get to use them. It's just a way to get some new Pokémon into the show. Even though Pokémon like Muk, Kingler and Glalie get hardly any time at all there.
You can see them in pokemon cronichels like "Shodown at the Oak Corral"
Lol, yeah I have seen some episodes where you see them if Ash returns to the lab. Sorry for sayign Quilava I meant to say Cyndaquil but I thought the first stages name was Quilava guess I was wrong. I wish they brought back Totodile...

anyone think its strange that ash just happens to be riding a pidgiot in movie 10 trailer it gets me thinking hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............................
