Chapter 1: The Beginning of a new Quest
This story doesn’t take place in Kanto, Johto, Hoehn or Shinoh, but in Suteki, a brand new region, in the depths of the unknown. One night, in Blizzard City, a factory was attacked by one of the evil teams that try to take control of this region, Team Mayhem. They were trying to take a Pokemon that was virtually invinsible, but were stopped by the Gym Leader of the Secret Quest of that time. He then took the Pokeball of that superb Pokemon and gave it to a man, dedicated to protect it with his life. The worse didn’t come yet, but it doesn’t mean that it can’t be stopped.
Some months later in Deren Town…
“Are the kids still asleep Fabian?” Mr. Phoenix said.
“Yes, dad. I won’t stay to wait for them. I have to go to the port to catch the ship. I have to get going. See ya dad.” Fabian said and left the house.
“Vanessa! Luke! Wake up at last!” Mr. Phoenix shouted.
“I’m awake uncle. Vanessa is awake too, but she is still getting ready. Girls!” Luke said. “And uncle, call me Lukas. How many times should I say that?”
“I’m ready Luke. You’re always enlarging the facts.” Vanessa said.
“I told you to call me Lukas!” He shouted.
“Yeah right… Luke!!” Vanessa said.
She opened the door and went to the lab of her cousin.
“Hello Bruno! How do you do?” Vanessa asked him.
“I’m fine Vanessa. Where is my bro?” Prof. Devon said.
“I’m here. Where is my Pokemon?” Luke asked.
“Here. Choose one of them. Ladies first.” Prof. Devon said and let Vanessa choose first.
“I’ll pick that one!” She then said and grabbed the Pokeball that contained Bulbasaur.
“So I’ll pick that one!” Luke said and went to grab the Pokeball.
“Oh no. Not that one! That’s mine!” Prof. Devon said.
“What’s in it? You’re keeping secrets Bruno?” Luke asked.
“No, a friend told me to keep this for him.” He answered.
“Ok, then, that one!” Luke said and picked the Pokeball that contained Torchic.
“Smell ya later cousin!” Luke said and left the building.
“Where is he going? He hasn’t taken his Pokedex yet!” Prof. Devon said.
Luke enters the room. “Er, Bruno, my Pokedex.” He said.
“Here you go!” Prof. Devon gave him a Pokedex. “Vanessa here is one for you. Also take these, and use ‘em wisely.” He then said and gave them a Potion and 5 Pokeballs.
“Bye bye Bruno!” Vanessa said and left the building. Luke left after her, for their new quest…

Of course brother. You can be in the story. I'll find a way to add you. There is no legendary in this Pokeball. Just a strong Pokemon. I'll add the next chapter today.

Chapter 2: Strange Encounter
“Ok let’s get started! Bulbasaur get out!” Vanessa said as she was calling Bulbasaur out of his Pokeball. “Ok lad, show me what you can do.” She said waiting Bulbasaur to do a Solarbeam. Of course Bulbasaur isn’t able to do the Solarbeam move yet, so he tackled her. “Ouch!” She shouted in pain. “Why did you do that?” She then asked him. “Saur!” (What kind of question is that? I wanted to do it! Hihihihi!)
“Ok then, tackle that Pidgey over there!” She ordered him. But he repeated his actions. “I want you to tackle that one!!!” She shouted.
“Saur…” (Ok, ok… I’ll do it) He said and then tackled the Pidgey, causing it little damage. “Nice one. Tackle it again.” She said happily.
“Pidgey!!” *Pidgey tackled Bulbasaur*
“Saur!” * Bulbasaur tackled Pidgey *
“Ok, let’s see… Tackle again!” Vanessa ordered.
* Bulbasaur tackled Pidgey *
“Ok, Poke ball go!” Vanessa said and threw a Pokeball at the Pidgey.
“Pidg…” it said while covered in red light and sucked in the Pokeball.
Ding… The Poke ball is moving… Ding… Still trying to escape… DONG!
“Phew… Yey! I caught a level 4 Pidgey! Look Bulbasaur. Our first catch!”
“Saur…” (Yeah right, so excited… pff…)
“You don’t seem to be excited, do you?” Vanessa asked Bulbasaur.
“Saur…” (Did you ever think that I was?)
“Ok, let’s go. We’ve to go to Verdon City before the sunset.” Vanessa said and started walking. “Bulbasaur come on, keep up!”
“Saur…” (Retrieve me…) He complained.
Vanessa kept on walking happily with the Pokeball containing Pidgey in it.
“Ok, the criminal is coming…” A voice from afar. Vanessa didn’t hear it. She kept walking. When she went by a tree, the man hiding in it raised his hand and hit Vanessa, making her fall on the ground.
“What the…” She tried to say.
“Stay where you are thief!” The man said.
“Are you crazy? How can I ever steal you? I’m not a thief!” Vanessa shouted at him.
“Huh, that’s not Paul. Sorry. Take my hand.” The man said and helped her get up.
“For god’s sake! Who are you? Who is Paul? Explain!” Vanessa said angrily.
“Saur…” (He is better than me. He did what I was trying to do so badly. Hihihihi!)
“That’s not your business!” The man said.
“I think it became my business when you sent me to the ground! Explain!” Vanessa asked again for explanations.
“I said I’m sorry! What else do you want me to do? Leave me alone!” The man said and walked away.
“I will get my answers stranger!” Vanessa said and started walking too.
“Stupid…” The man mumbled.
“Idiot…” Vanessa whispered.
Bulbasaur was the only satisfied from this tiny and “happy” conversation.
“I’m gonna find ya. You won’t go away like this…” Vanessa whispered.

Chapter 3: An old friend
“Who was he?” Vanessa was thinking.
“Hey Vanessa!” She heard a voice from Verdon City.
“Oh, hi Steve. How do you do?” Vanessa asked the boy.
“I’m fine. I was hoping that I’ll catch up with you. Prof. Devon told me to ask your help. I have to reach Hill Town, but I don’t have any Pokemon yet. I’ll get one there.” Steve said.
“Ok, no problem.” Vanessa said.
“Who was that guy I’ve seen before?” Steve asked.
“A stupido…” Vanessa said.
“But as I can see, you liked him, right?” Steve said.
“What? Are you crazy?” Vanessa shouted at him.
“I’ve seen you’d blushed. I know you for years.” Steve said.
“That was anger! You don’t know me enough!” Vanessa said and blushed. Then she started walking fast. The sun was setting. Night was about to come. Vanessa and Steve entered a Pokemon Center. They arrived in Verdon City…
“Good afternoon. How may I help you?” Nurse Joey said.
“First of all, would you heal my Pokemon? And after that, would you give us two rooms?” Vanessa said.
“In a second you’ll be ready.” Nurse Joey said. “Here you go. Would you like to have dinner?” Nurse Joey asked.
“Yes, of course. I’m starving.” Vanessa said.
“The appetite of the beginners…” Steve giggled.
“You may sit there.” Nurse Joey said and the two friends sat down.
“Ok Vanessa, what was the name of your beloved one?” Steve asked, making her angry…
“He is not my beloved. He is a coward! He is a…” Vanessa said but was stopped by someone touching her shoulder.
“Are you talking about me?” He said. He was the guy she met before.
“Whoo! No, why should I talk about you?” Vanessa asked.
“Cause, our first encounter was filled with cute words like this one… I’m glad I didn’t let you keep talking.” He said. “Now we can talk…”
“Talk? You had your chance a few hours ago.” Vanessa said.
“So, I’m leaving.” He said and turned to leave.
“No!” She shouted and he turned. “What?” He asked. “I want my answers…” Vanessa said.
Steve went and picked Bulbasaur.
“Saur…” (It sucks!)
“They really like each other, don’t they?” Steve asked Bulbasaur.
“Saur…” (Do you see me? I’ll throw up!)
“Stop it Steve! I said I don’t like him!” Vanessa shouted.
“Me? Like her? For god’s sake!” The guy said.
“By the way, what’s your name?” Vanessa asked.
“Lionel. I think yours is Vanessa, right?” Lionel asked.
“Yes…” She said and blushed.
“Ok, I’ve to go… We’ll meet again…” Lionel said and left.
“Lionel… Nice name.” Steve said.
“Cut it off!” Vanessa said.
But Steve was only aware of the “sympathy” Lionel shows to Vanessa. So does she… But there are evil plans organized behind them… Lionel isn’t an ordinary trainer…
I know, this one sucks cause it's just blah blah. The next one will have stuff, I promise... I'll prepare it today...

Chapter 4: Sparky…
After dinner, our friends went to sleep. The next day, Vanessa woke up excited and went out to find the first gym. She was pretty stressed though. She only had two Pokemon. She was running around when she bumped on a boy.
“Oops! I’m sorry.” Vanessa said.
“Hey!” The boy turned and Vanessa saw three Pokeball on his waist. “It’s ok.”
“You’re a trainer!” Vanessa said.
“Glad you noticed. Are you looking for the gym? I got the badge so I can lead you there. By the way, my name is Tayo.” He said.
“I’m Vanessa. Thankies for the help.” She said and started walking next to him.
“Do you know what kind of Pokemon they use in there?” Tayo asked her.
“No. Which type?” She asked.
“Electric Pokemon rule the place. I beat all three trainers in there.” Tayo answered.
“Is my Bulbasaur going to make it?” Vanessa wondered.
“They are pretty weak. You can beat em easily.” Tayo said.
“Ok then, let’s go.” Vanessa said with anxiety.
“Here you go. We’ll meet again.” Tayo said and went to the Pokemon Center.
“Uhh oh… Now what?” Vanessa said to herself.
“How about going inside?” Someone said.
“Huh?” She turned and saw a handsome guy looking at her.
“Let’s go.” He said and took her inside. The trainers were gone. “I’ve been watching you.” He said.
“Who are you?” Vanessa asked.
“I am George, the leader of the Verdon Gym. I am the only obstacle to the Spark Badge!” He said and stepped back in his position.
“Wha… What?” Vanessa mumbled.
“I challenge you! 1 – 1! Show me what you’ve got!” George said and grabbed a Pokeball from a table next to him. “I’ll make it easy. Go Electrike!” He shouted and an Electrike appeared in the arena.
“Ok, I’ll play! Go Bulbasaur!” Vanessa shouted and Bulbasaur was sent in the arena.
“This is a battle between the Gym Leader George of Verdon City and Vanessa of Deren City.” The judge shouted.
“Bulbasaur Tackle!” Vanessa commanded.
“Electrike Thundershock!” George commanded.
*Bulbasaur was hit by Thundershock*
*Bulbasaur hit Electrike with Tackle*
Electrike and Bulbasaur stepped back with pain.
“It seems that even my newly caught Pokemon can beat ya easily.” George said.
“We’ll see. Bulbasaur Tackle again!” Vanessa ordered.
“Electrike Thu…” George went to say, but Bulbasaur hit Electrike.
“Impressive…” George spelled. “Electrike use Thundershock!”
“Bulbasaur evade. Then Tackle!” Vanessa said.
Bulbasaur went to evade the attack, but was hit by a part of it.
* Bulbasaur hit Electrike with Tackle *
“Bulbasaur another Tackle!” Vanessa said.
“Not so easily… Electrike, Tackle first!” George commanded and Electrike hit Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur then tackled Electrike. “It seems that Bulbasaur is getting tired, isn’t he?” George asked.
“You should order, not chat with the opponent, because Electrike is tired too. More than you think. Bulbasaur Tackle!” Vanessa ordered.
“Electrike evade!” George ordered.
“It’s no use…” Vanessa said.
* Bulbasaur hit Electrike *
* Electrike fainted *
“Electrike is unable to fight. Bulbasaur won! Vanessa won the battle!” The judge said.
“Good job Bulbasaur. You may rest.” Vanessa said and Bulbasaur disappeared in a red light.
“It seems that I underestimated you.” George said. “Anyways, you won. Here is the Spark Badge.” George said and handled Vanessa the Spark Badge. Vanessa turned to leave when he stopped her. “I’m not done yet. Here is a gift for my favorite trainer.” He gave her a TM. “That’s Shockwave. You won’t be able to teach it to any of your Pokemon yet. There aren’t any of the Electric type around.” George said. “Also you are now able to use Flash outside of battle.”
“Thanks a lot. Farewell.” Vanessa said and left the gym.
She walked back to the Pokemon Center. Steve was waiting for her. But she first noticed Tayo in there. “Hey Tayo! I obtained the Spark Badge.” She said.
“Sweet. Where are you going now?” Tayo asked.
“I’m going to Crent City. How about you?” She asked him.
“Me too! How ‘bout going together?” He then asked her.
“It’s a good idea. We have to pass through Bone Cave, so another trainer will be useful.” Steve said from behind.
“So you’re coming with us.” Vanessa said.
After an hour, our friends left the Pokemon Center of Verdon City with another member in it. They were heading to Bone Cave. But what is in there? We’ll find soon…
