I recieved an email from a fellow trainer looking for information on the following rumor: Can your Bike get Stolen? This trianer acquired this bit of rumor from wikiknowledge. there weren't any sources or citations and I told him i would look around. Failing to find any real info, i told him that i doubt it. I said that it may be a possible event in the storyline, but probably not a random happening. If anyone can shed more light on this it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if there are other rumors that have exposed outcomes of True or False, let me know!

A Bike getting stolen...?
The Bike's only use is a mode of transport, and is a combination of the Mach Bike (fast speed), and Acro bike (normal speed, you can't do tricks though). As far as I played through, my bike has yet to get stolen by some random person. Heck, I don't think there's anything else that gets stolen in-game, unless you count that 'Volcano Rock' item ('taken' by some annoying NPC), which later triggers the event to let you meet up with Heatran.
Edit: And the fact that he aquired that information from wikiknowledge, which 'anyone can edit', already says something xD
Yeah thats exactly what i figured, but its best for me to check as many sources as possible, so i turned to all of you. what more of a valuable source can you get then a load of fans who have seen their share?

Anyways, your bike getting stolen, it could make a very teeny tiny bit of sense if liek in FRLG you get a thug going, 'Hand over that neat bike if you lose'... no actually I couldn't. You could get a glitch but not a real thing, check for YouTube videos on this, see if that can answer anything. This also needs to get moved to Portabel gaming since DP is a portable game. *moved*
I heard in Fr/Lg that if you trade over a pokemon that knows cut and don't go on the ship and get surf that you can surf on that water still not going on the boat and go to the island that has mew.
