Every few minutes, AVG pops up and says I have a "Exploit" Virus, but when I try to find the infected file in My Computer, it won't show up, and in AVG, I try to "Heal" it and it errors and says I can't. Then I tried restoring it, which just reproduced another infected file @_@ So, I can't delete or heal it, all I can do is let it sit in my virus vault, not knowing if my computer is safe. Can someone help me?
I've had this happen to me before. I just let it sit there and nothing happened, because every now and then there is a false alarm. And if you can find it, delete all un-necessary files, to make sure it's none of them. And if you can't find it, you may need to download a new filter.
AVG? Is this the same one where they keep telling you about some silly trojan horse that does not exist, and does not even attempt to erase it?
Anyway, those kinds are usually false alarms, or are pretty harmless. AVG still takes care of the big stuff. If you get really annoyed by those messages, maybe you could reinstall AVG again? Make sure to constantly update too.
