who says it will be a G/S/C remake, though it's a possibity, it's unlikely.....

If there is going to be a GSC remake, it will be strange. They'll have to make it in the 4th generation style and make it on the DS. There's no way they can switch back the 3rd Generation rules after DP and PBR. GSC wasn't that great anyway. It was fairly cool and maybe a remake will make me realise how good it can be. But lack of trainers and levelling up was annoying, as well as the lack of new Pokémon being created. About 30% of the Pokémon they created were uneccessary evos or pre-evos. I saw GSC as a foundation for the awesomeness of RSE, creating Eggs and junk, but it was a faulty system back then.

I highly doubt that it would be a GSC remake. All the Johto Pokemon are already available and there are some elements of GSC in D/P from what I've heard, so it sounds like they were trying to bring a bit of Johto into Sinnoh, maybe to please the Johto fans or something. If it isn't Mystery Dungeon 2 that they're talking about, it's probably some other spin off game (Snap sequel would be awesome).

I believe the story of GSC was the ONLY different one, it stood out. If there was a remake it would be the greatest one in the series, as for the reason that the Gym leaders were in different order rather then simular(such as Ruby to Red version), the main character wore his hat backwards, pokegears(which I say with improvement can be greater then the RSE version), and the use of the Select button more often. Its true, without GSC RSE and DP would be nothing, and the pokemon were great. Thats why I personally say GSC would be the best of the series if remade.
