A swirly darkness faded in, as several figures come into focus. A Pikachu with a Rescue Badge, a large metagross, a Lucario, a Scyther, a Porygon, a Turtwig, a Piplup, and a charmander is shown. Team Advance, a large Rescue Team went on a mission one day together, but never returned. This left the Team's Leader, Pika, who was missing, to force his only Son, Hawkeye the Pikachu to become the new leader and restart the Team. Now, Hawkeye is on his own quest, to find out what happenned to his Father and the Team...

Chapter 1:
Hawkeye was usually a quiet and shy pikachu. He had few friends, but were very close to them, that they were almost like family. He would never forget the day when a letter came to his father's Rescue Base that told him that the Team had gone missing and that Pika wanted HIM to take over the new team. He was astonished, and would have never taken on the role of duty as a new Team Leader, if his friend didn't help convince him. After reading the letter, Hawkeye went to talk with his best friend, BJ, the charmander. BJ was a slim figure. He was an athletic pokemon and enjoyed doing physical activity. He was usually found training at the Makuhita Dojo, training, for one day, he wanted to be on a Rescue Team, and sure enough, the Dojo was where Hawkeye found him that morning. Hawkeye rushed through Pokemon Square and the flowing river and halted at the Dojo Entrance, bowing quickly to Makuhita, then entering. He found BJ punching some sandbags with his tail.
"BJ!" Hawkeye shouted.
"Hey Hawk!" BJ said happily, stopping his exercises and walking over to greet his friend. "What's up?"
"Not good, Beej," Hawkeye replied. "Read this."
He pulled out the letter that came in the mailbox that morning. BJ gave the letter a nice long scan with his eyes, reading every part carefully.
"Wow!" BJ said. "What do you mean bad? Well...I mean it's bad that your Father's Team is missing, but....this could be a great opportunity for you! Didn't you always want to be on your Father's Team? Now you can start it to be your own! And if you find them, you'll be a hero!"
"I'm not sure if I can do it...." Hawkeye replied.
"No, no, don't worry," BJ snapped. "I can help you! I've always wanted to be on a Rescue Team! So, how 'bout it, bud?"
"Well, if it means finding them, then I guess it would be worth a try," Hawkeye admitted. Then, the two went back to the Rescue Base.
"Wow, this is all ours now," BJ said excitedly.
"Yeah..." Hawkeye said quietly. Suddenly, someone was knocking at the door. "Come in."
A chikorita walked into the base, and said, "Hey Hawkeye, I heard you and BJ were starting a rescue Team! Well, could maybe me and Trapper join?"
Suki was a female chikorita that was always optimistic. She had been friends with Hawkeye and BJ ever since they were tiny little kids. Trapper was a Beldum that was also good friends with Hawkeye and BJ.
Hawkeye and BJ smiled at each other, and nodded.
"Yeah, we wouldn't be able to rescue anyone without you guys," Hawkeye said happily. "Come on, we should go.."
Hawkeye got up and led the other 3 new members into another room in the base. He opened a chest, and inside was a genuine Rescue Team Normal Rank Rescue Badge, and a Real Rescue Team Toolbox for items. He picked them up and held them up to show, and said to them, "We can use these, so now we are a real rescue team! What should we call our new team?"
"I declare us....Rescue Team Advance Generation 2!" BJ said happily.
"Sounds good!" Trapper said.
"Yup," Suki and Hawkeye agreed.
They suddenly heard a flap outside. It was pelliper delivering mail. He dropped one with a big sticker on the mail inside the new Team's mailbox. The 4 of them rushed outside and Hawkeye ripped open the mail, reading the letter.
"Oh no!" Hawkeye shouted. "A bunch of pokemon are attacking Pokemon Square! We're the nearest Rescue Team..We may be new, but let's show'em what we've got! Right Team Advance?"
"Yeah!" All of them shouted, as they picked up their new supplies and swiftly ran to pokemon square. There, they saw the Kecleon Shop on fire with the two kecleon inside! Outside was a group of fire pokemon. Namely, a Combusken, Houndoom, and Magmar. Team Advance confronted the 3 fire pokemon, who were burning down the buildings. The Team looked like pathetic babies standing next to the 3 fire pokemon.
"Hey, you!" Hawkeye said meekly. "Leave pokemon Square alone!"
"You babies wanna play?" Houndoom said evilly. "Get ready to be burned to crisps!"
All three turned to the Team and shot an enormous flame at them, lighting Suki's Leaf on fire and Trapper's body too. Although the rest was running around crazily, trying to put it out, it only made BJ stronger, making his tail grow by the second. Hawkeye and BJ stood before the 3 fire pokemon and readied their own attacks. Hawkeye swiftly ran up to them and hit them all with quick attack while BJ sharpened his claws and clawed away at Houndoom's face, blinding it for the moment.
"OOWWW!" It howled in pain and aimlessly shot flames, missing them.
"Yes!" BJ said, releasing his grip and them jumping on magmar, using the same tactic. Then, Hawkeye rubbed his cheeks and released a large jolt of electricity at them, frying them like chickens. Meanwhile, Suki and Trapper found pail and splashed water from Whishcash pond on the buildings, attempting to put them out. After stalling the fire pokemon long enough, the Kecleon brothers and Kangaskahn took them away and threw them into the Ocean by the Post Office. Then, Hawkeye and BJ saw Suki and Trapper trying to put out the flames. Quickly, they went to help, grabbing pails from a nearby shed, collecting water from the Whishcash Pond, and throwing the water onto the fire. Finally, after many, many rounds of continuous water from all 4 Team Advance members, the fires seized and the buildings were saved. They were thanked by the Square Shop Owners afterwards, and they went back to the Rescue Base, as it was late at night then. BJ, Suki, and Trapper all went to bed in their beds of hay, but Hawkeye snuck outside the Team base and sat atop a large tree, staring at the night sky. His eyes were fixed on the beautiful stars, and they started to shred tears as he thought of his Father and his team. He looked once more at the sky and said quietly, "I....I will find you Pika......I will find all of you...and I will save you all and any other pokemon in need....I...promise....."
Chapter 2:
Hawkeye rolled around on his bed of comfy hay in his Rescue Base. He was having a dream...a dream that his father, Pika was alive...he was being swallowed by a large dark cloud..until..suddenly, Hawkeye woke up to his friend BJ's constant whining.
"Hawk! Hawk!" BJ shouted. "Come on! Didn't you say we were going to go look for your Father today?"
Hawkeye got up slowly, wiping some tears off his face, which he didn't notice until now. He looked at BJ the charmander and said, "Morning BJ, where's Trapper and Suki? We have to get going soon."
Hawkeye grabbed his rescue supplies and badges, threw one at BJ, and ran outside the rescue Base. They found Suki the Chikorita outside taking a walk and Trapper the Beldum sleeping silently near the mailbox. He got up and said, "Yaaawn.....hey Hawkeye, BJ. Are we going to the Genesis Falls today?"
"Yeah, we have to find Pika and we haven't searched for him there yet," Hawkeye replied.
"Okay, you guys ready to go then?" Suki asked. Everyone nodded.
"Alright Let's go everyone!" Hawkeye said, leading them down the path to Genesis Falls.
When they arrived at the falls, the Natural Falls looked beautiful, from the crystal clear rushing water, to the green trees surrounding the area. The Team noticed a group of Elekids talking. They walked over, hoping to gain some information.
"Hello," Hawkeye said. "Um, have you seen a pikachu around here?"
The Elekids looked at eachother and smirked. "We have seen a pikachu...." they replied. "...a dead pikachu in front of us!"
Then, they used thunderwave on Team Advance. Only Hawkeye could move because everyone else were paralyzed from the shock.
"Arrghh....you're going down!" Hawkeye shouted angrily, tackling one of the Elekids to the floor, and punching it with a thunder punch. Another elekid jumps on top of Hawkeye and stabbed him with an Iron Thorn.
"Aghhh!!!" Hawkeye screamed in pain. He fell down on the ground, attempting to pull it out of his skin, but his effort was futile. It was too deep in.
"Hehehe..." An Elekid said. "You shoulda never challenged us."
The paralysis wore off on the team, and they sprung into action.
"You'll regret that!" BJ shouted. He launched a smaller flame from his mouth directed at the elekids, burning them on fire. Meanwhile, Trapper and Suki was trying to help Hawkeye with his iron thorn.
"ARRGH...it's no use, I can't pull it.." Suki said.
"Wait, let me try with my magnetic powers to pull it out," Trapper suggested. He blinked and began to shake, and so did the iron thorn deep inside Hawkeye's body. It slowly was pulled from the body until finally, it was uprooted from Hawkeye, who screamed in pain from the pull, and finally opened his eyes. Suki swiftly opened their Rescue Toolbox and picked out a band-aid, covering Hawkeye's wound with stained blood and cuts. He got up slowly, still trembling, but finally, he ran behind the elekids, who were fighting BJ, and yelled, "Take this!! Hidden Power!". He closed his eyes, as the Elekids turned around. Hawkeye began to glow and Red orbs began to appear around his body and shot out unexpectantly towards the elekids, knocking them out for the count.
"Huh....hu....huh..." Hawkeye breathed heavily.
"Hawk, you okay?" BJ asked.
"Yeah...I'm fine...let's keep goin'..." Hawkeye said.
So, the team continued walking together on the path of the genesis Falls.
