I have just started over on my pkmn FR game and I spoted a golden pidgey on rout 1 on my way to get prof. Oaks damn parcel! so I didn't have any pokeballs with me! I was soooo upset! Is there any chance that I could run into it again?!?
You *might*, but then again, you have the same chance of running into any other shiny. .=. Sorry to hear about that!
Now that sucks. I gold pigey don't seem that rare. My 2 DIFFERENT friends a Gold Pigeot,from a shiny gold Pigey.
Man, that the bumz. My condolences. The only 3rd gen shiny I ever found was a Shuppet, now a Banette, i still got it though. Again my apologies. That's such a tough loss. Maybe u'll get a diff one.
Same thing happened to me, but I had PokéBalls, but it was the same route. Shiny Pidgey. I caught it, too.
It is gutted when you have no Pokéballs, especially when you can't even have them. A horrible scenario (but also similar) is if Wally's Ralts was shiny!

If you're lucky, you might find another shiny.
The chances though are on the slim side, I think there is a walkthrough on gameFAQs that has the rate of probability in numbers.
REAL sorry to hear that. I've only got a shiny Zubat (now Crobat) but i know that is hard. It happened to me on ruby. I found a poocheyena. It DOES happen though. And Yes, It also happened to me that wally's ralts was shiney. =3. Again i feel sorry for you.

Actually, I have a shiny Crobat as well. I wonder how many dratini I would have to breed to get a shiny one…
