I can't believe I forgot how to get there! I had to restart my whole entire FR game becuase I was stuck on like island 1 becuase I never got something in Saffron City! Do I have to do something for the guys that are in the entrence to saffron? They always say that they are thristy and that the roads are closed.
Oh, those guys, go to celadon city and check out the buildings, near the top of one of them there will be a girl that gives you some tea, go and give the guard that and yeah, he will let you go through..i think other drinks from soda machines in the game work to, but i'm not sure...

Okay with that question answered, please check around for such threads as 'Daily SPam Pokéstyle' and 'Pokémon Q & A'. The 2nd in particular was designed to stop 1 question threads like this, but I'm glad your question was answered. After getting into Saffron you'll need to get rid of TR, defeat the Dojo (and get a Hitmon) and then beat Sabrina, so good luck with all that. *closed*
