I'm going with my sister to get her tattoo tomorrow, and she said that I might be able to get one too. I always wanted a tattoo too. And I was actually thinking of getting one of a pokemon! Maybe like a charmander or Meowth. One of the origenals would be the best. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it, I liked pokemon for 10 years now! My English teacher has a charmander tattoo, but she said I could not see it becuase it was on her butt x_x'
What do you guys think? Is it a good idea, or a bad one?
I don't really think tattoos are a good idea.
In fact, I've never really been interested in girls with tattoos either.
I liked them, they're not a necessity on a boy or girl for me.. my father has them and I might get one or two.. maybe
If it's your first tattoo, I would think very long and hard about it, because it basically is permanent, so think where you want it and if you really.. REALLY want it.
If you still do, start small, as for a pokemon, why not? But I would make sure what art style it might be in if you want it, since tattoo aritst usually have different style.
It's a nice idea, but make sure it actually LOOKS good on where ever you put it..
I guess if you're gonna get a tattoo, a Pokemon wouldn't necessarily be a bad one to get. I would just urge you to seriously weigh the decision before making it. This will be a permanent (or very expensive and painful-to-remove later) mark on your body.

Getting a POKEMOn one is a BAAD idea, since pokemon will die(sad, yes, I know) in about 6 years. So you'll be stuck with it, and you prolly won't even know what it is when you're 35.

Yes, but pokemon is a different story. We're talking about something that loss half of its popularity points when it came out, even though its kinda popular now. I don't see how its dumb, if she doesn't get a pikachu she won't know what it is.

Um... riiight, ok. You don't seem to know the whole meaning of tattoos and I really don't think you know much about them..., but whatever --;
Anyways, nothing wrong with getting a Pokemon tattoo, if you like it that long and you wanna get a cool looking pokemon.. or a cute one.. and you wanna show that you like pokemon,go for it :3 Seriously, just make sure as I said, make sure you really WANT a tattoo to begin with, 'cause as UPL said, they can be pretty expensive and the pain can be.. ugh.. remember.. it is NEEDLES in your skin after all.
Also, you wanna really think about it, honestly, I wouldn't get one RIGHT there, I would wait and mingle, watch your sister and the whole process. Look around at the parlor, see the styles and stuff and ask ALOT of questions, just so you know what you're in store for and even ask for suggestions.
Depending on the tattoo, hiding it for certain times or purposes, or showing it off all together, placing it is key, one tattoo on one place may look good for one person, but for another it may not be.
Tattoo mean alot, individuality, memories, stories, and where to place is part of the meaning of tattoos.
Yes, and, I repeat the same statement, but this time with an objection! Firstly 17 is too young for a Tattoo IMO, your Morals change around 27 anyways, you'll hate yourself later. Infact, Tattoo's are a bad idea in General, but if you REALLY want one I still don't suggest pokemon. Get something that actually matters to the world, that you'll care about when you are older, rather then one based on a TV show. Of course, most kids nowadays wont see the importance in that, but I guess I"m just ol' Grandpa.

WTF is wrong with you? That's so friggen closed minded it's not even funny! Seriously, just because you think TATTOO's are bad doesn't mean they are, so seriously, keep comments like that to yourself, because stuff like that pisses me off >< My dad got his first tattoo at 16 and he has never regretted them at all, and he got another one a couple months ago. Besides, tattoo's a universal things, so that must mean alot of people made BAD MISTAKES, including our ancestors. Thanks on that.
