Hey Everyone! You may wonder what this thread is all about upon reading the title. So I'll explain...

Everyone week, for a week, a poll will be put up between 2 fairly similar Pokémon, these can include similar Pokémon of the same type, Pokémon who are the opposite version exclusives or Pokémon who are similar in other ways, like same generation starters. You will vote for the Pokémon you like the most. This doesn't mean you vote for which one could win, although it could be a small reason for choosing. After each week, the results will be posted here on the first post and a new set of Pokémon will be put up.

You can just vote in the poll, it will be private, so what you vote for only sticks with YOU and nobody else will know. However, if you're not afraid of your opinions, then post WHY you voted for who you voted for, giving animé reasons, stat reasons, move pool reasons, appearence reasons, catching reasons and any reasons you can think of, as long as they're sensible and put forward nicely.

What I don't want are debates, post your opinion and then wait until the new poll okay? Don't argue over things, people are entitled to have their opinions and you have to just sit back and accept it I'm afraid. If someone spams and someone mini-mods, don't ALSO mini-mod, people only need telling once, although I'm not really a fan of mini-modding and I obviously will take full responsibility of this thread. The first week's thread will be a little longer than a week, because it's the first one AND because today is only Thursday, I will make it every Saturday because I should always be able to update it then.

First week's reason
I'll be voting for Ho-oh because I have always thoght it looks better, I like it's types more, I like its offensive stats more, I like its movepool more and I love the fact it's actually now rarer and harder to obtain than Lugia. I also like it a bit more because of its animé appearences, always having a special kind of bond with Ash.

And now...

I've chosen these lot because they're all from the same Pokémon and brilliantly similar and brilliantly different! So happy voting!

Aw, hard choice. I have a thing for Ho-Oh considering I favoured Gold over Silver back when they come out. Plus it's really cool looking and is considered to be some kind of Pokemon "god". Plus I think it's awesome how it's watching over Ash and how it was the first unknown/Johto Pokemon to appear in the anime =]

On the other hand, Lugia is one of my favourite legendaries. Pokemon 2000 is my favourite movie and Lugia just has amazing power as well as being a really noble Pokemon. Plus it's song is cool.

Wow, I intended to choose Lugia before I typed this out, but I think I've convinced myself to go with Ho-Oh. xD

So yeah, I pretty much like them equally, but I'm going to vote Ho-Oh. ^^

Hmm...well back in the day I bought Silver over Gold, simply because I thought Lugia was a cooler looking and more original design. I've always thought Ho-oh's design could have been more original. Though I've always had a keen liking towards Phoenix's overall, I'm just not a fan of Ho-oh. He actually looks rather ugly to me. So yeah...I'll go with Lugia.

Tough choice. But I'll go with Lugia because back in the days of GSC, I found Silver to be better than Gold. That and Lugia's Aeroblast is just wicked.

well, i think lugia is slightly cooler, BUT!

I found gold version better than silver version.
Also, I can actually remember gold version, unlike silver.
So I'd have to vote for... HO-OH!!

I can't pick anything other than Lugia. Several reasons

1) Lugia looks better than Ho-oh
2) Lugia has better types than Ho-oh
3) Lugia has better moves than Ho-oh
4) Shiny Lugia is better than shiny Ho-oh
5) I think Silver is better than Gold

Ho-oh has significantly better stats than Lugia, and is just cooler looking.

Lugia. I can give you 4 reasons.

1) High stats
2) Lord of the Sea. If you saw Pokemon 2000, you'd understand.
3) It learns better moves. Hence HydroPump.
4) Is way cooler.

Neither of the really appael to me.

But god, Lugia looks way cooler than Ho-oh. And that's my factor for this decision.
