If you were in the animé, can you take on Ash?
Post what Pokémon you'd use and your strategy.
As for me, I'd use the following Pokémon:
Charizard
Garchomp
Floatzel
Luxray
Froslass
Zangoose
If Ash gathers his "best" Pokémon, I'd have Garchomp take care of Pikachu, Luxray can handle his Charizard, Froslass for Sceptile, Floatzel can defeat Donphan, Zangoose can handle Snorlax and Charizard can overwhelm the final Pokémon Ash would throw at me.
And his pep talks won't be able to help him against ME, I can tell you that.

Even though it may be physically impossible...I always liked this question personally. =D
Um, I may win...but IMO, it would probably be a good battle that would be finished with a Zangoose on Pikachu finish, whoever faints now fails, and whoever survives this last round would be named the victor.
Well, Zangoose may be my favorite pokemon, but when you think about it...Pikachu has to be like level 23152635423562. Atleast. Maybe 23152635423561. Give or take.
But meh. I would use my normal team as always. Which would prevail over most, but all because of well thought out skill and not just brute force.

Don't be so sure. There's something called switching pokemon.
Charizard is faster than Luxray, and could probably defeat it with a flamethrower or overheat after how long he's had it, if we aren't calculating EVs. About Zangoose, though it is way faster, don't underestimate Snorlax's HP, and its attack is almost as big as Zangoose's, while Zangoose has neither high HP or DEF. A rest and sleep talk combo could easily take out Zangoose if you aren't careful.
Also, Don't forget some of his other pokemon include Glalie and Kingler.
Pfft. Using my Trainer Card from my sig, Ash would be as good as dead.
Aggron would kill Pikachu using Earthquake, but it also knows Surf and Blizzard, so Sceptile and Donphan would die from that. Electivire would paralyze Snorlax so it can't use Rest and slowly kill it with Brick Break. It would also kill Kingler. Kabutar would smash Charizard to nothing using Rock Blast.
I have backup, too. If Aggron fails the attempt to defeat Sceptile, Houndoom will follow up. Honestly, Ash doesn't stand a big chance if any.
Well.. I might win against Ash but I'm not sure.

Flareon can be used against his Pikachu, Empoleon for his Charizard, Sceptile for his water-types, Salamence for his Snorlax and the others.
i'd use:
latias vs sptile because of ice beam
Camarot for pikachu and sptile and gaile because it's fire/ground
Uxie on kingler because of thunderbolt
infrinape vs srolx because of the fighting type and close combat how do i know because i've done it vs my rivil Ben 6 times in a row

You did forget, however, that Sceptile can learn Dragon Claw.
