First off, do not harass the staff. IF you have a problem with how they handle a situation you give ME a private message and ask for my opinion. You do NOT send them insults publicly or privately. If you decide to do so, it's your account that's up on the chopping block...not theirs.
Second, settle down. This is a lovely little forum. Do you have any inkling why I even created it? Forums are way over protective about rules and such. They feel the need to advertise a lot. They want to block links to other forums. They want to inhibit harmless speech they may not enjoy.
1) I don't care about criticism as long as it's handled APPROPRIATELY. You make the effort to be civil and I will definitely listen to you.
2) I do not enjoy a STRICT community. This is for having fun and relaxing on the 'net, not worrying if you're going to get a warning. Just follow the basic rules. We're really not asking much. Would you really get mad if a teacher let you drink soda in class but not let you spit on other students? Just enjoy the luxuries that are afforded to you and show some basic courtesy to others.
3) My aim is not to make MMC the biggest Pokemon forum out there. In fact if it was it would have to have more rules so that more members could exist in harmony. Would that be as much fun? No. Go to SPPf if you want a fast paced forum which locks every other thread.
4) Freedom of speech is important. Just consider the age group you're in and who's going to be reading it. Also, and again, just be polite to other members. Again, it's fine to approach others on something you don't like but you need to do it in an UNRUDE way. (Hehe, that's not a word)
So darlings, I love you all, but just settle down and enjoy
Don't get so caught up in dramatics that you forget what our little community is all about. We should all be friends and learn to live with each other. I'd rather have you guys here than anywhere else because I'm very aware of who's who and I like all of you. Well, most of you. JUST KIDDING. I love you all.
