I was recently having a chat with some friends, all of whom were big pokemaniacs back at the start but stopped following and playing the games.
Ive always loved the movies and the show, but they said it would be rather creepy if i went and caught a movie in the theater. Of course theres the people who could get younger kids (be it a younger sibling or family member) to go with them and not seem out of place. Unfortunailly i dont know of anyone in my family under 16 that is in to pokemon.

My question is how old would you think is to old to casually go to a pokemon movie? Of course im not saying im going by myself, i could get the girlfriend to go. But with her being 24 and myself being 22, i dont know if that would seem like it was crossing the line.

Well if your girlfriend would willingly go it would look slightly better than if you went alone.

I probably would willingly go alone if they came here.

I think i have given answer of it before on this forum or other but not remembered when.


Well, I also prefer to go alone.

Maybe instead of going to a theatre, you could rent it out when it gets released on DVD.
That seems a bit logical.

Why do you care about what people you don't even know think of you?

Go to a theater, alone or not, and enjoy the movie.

Age doesn't matter. You can be 30 and you can still like Pokemon. So maybe it's targeted at little kids, but it doesn't mean that only little kids can like it.

Besides, many parents are going with their kids. So you are not going with a kid. You could still go. Don't worry about what other people think.
I would go alone if the movies came back in theatres.
