You will need a Computer USB and a good connection, or you could simply go to a hotspot.

Well it's not as simple as that. Since NDS's aren't yet enabled for WPA-PSK security, you have to find a WEP access point (which aren't used as commonly as WPA) and know the key for it.

Once you go to the settings, tap Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings. Then, select the connection you want to change or connect to your Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. If you use a connection make sure you have a wireless router. Once you are at a connection select Search for an Access Point. (If anyone can tell me what AOSS is, I would appreciate it.) Once the search is complete, hopefully you will see some access points. Next to them are locks. If you have a red lock, you need a WEP key which can be found on your routers settings, a blue lock means that no WEP key is required, and a gray lock means you can't connect to that access point. Once you have selected your access point (and maybe have set up a WEP key) save your settings and go back until you are at the first screen. (Note: you can only do this next step if you have access to your wireless router's settings) Tap Options, then System Information. On your wireless routers settings, make it so the router recognizes the DS. Now go back to your connection and do a test.
Hope this helps!!!=D
