(As you can tell, I've done a severe overhauling of the forum. The reason? It's mostly SPAM. I can't take this SPAM anymore and this is the reason why both myself and Shuricel have been modded in this area. Here are rules you MUST abide by in this forum. If you don't, I will be contacting the higher ups and you will be banned. You've been WARNED.)

Hello and welcome to the From Japan, With Love forum here at Mount Moon Community Forums. As the title infers, this forum is where you can talk about anime and manga from Japan that is not Pokemon. Please read over these rules and follow them so we can have a clean and secure environment to discuss our favorite shows and comic books.

1) General Mount Moon Community Forum rules apply here
The rules of the forums in general are also applied here. Which are the basic don't SPAM (Stupid. Pointless. Annoying. Messages), keep your posts to at least seven words, etc...

2) What is anime/manga?
Anime and manga are Japanese cartoons and comic books; both are produced in Japan and licensed here by certain companies.

3) Discussion of ONLY Japanese animation/comic books
As you know, America has started to create shows in a similar style as to those of anime. Shows like Teen Titans, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Xiaolin Showdown, and Ben 10 will NOT be discussed in here. Take it to the TV and Movies forum.

4) No Bashing
No bashing any anime or anime character and the same for manga. Also no bashing of anyone's opinions. Don't start threads just to say _____ is better than _____. (Bashing means calling names in a mocking manner. It will not be tolerated on any level. If you don't like the show/character, don't post about it.)

5) No illegal content
By illegal content I mean, anime mp3s, fansubs*, downloadable fansubs*, raw episodes, bootlegged DVD/merchandise and the like. This puts down the hundreds of people that spend all day making the official merchandise. Not to mention you and this entire website could get in trouble for discussing this. So just don't.

*The legality of fansubs is still really up in the air as of now, so the staff of MMC would like to take the safe route and not mention them at all.

6) Spoilers
Please keep the spoiling to a minimum, especially anime such as One Piece and Naruto who are airing in the US and other countries right now. The episodes airing here have already been shown in Japan, so you must be careful about discussing these. If your topic is going to have spoilers, please be considerate of those who want to keep the series a secret by marking your thread in the first post (not necessarily in the title). This doesn't only mean anime being shown on TV - this could also include anime that have yet to air in the US or ones that go straight to DVD.

7) Keep the same anime in one thread
As most of you noticed, there were a lot of Naruto threads in here about a couple of days ago. If you have a question about an anime that already has a topic, ASK IN THAT THREAD. I don't want ten billion Naruto threads running around. If there's a topic for a certain anime, that's the main topic. Don't post multiple threads. I'm really sick of it.

8) Keep on topic.
Don't start Role-Playing in the threads. This is considered SPAM. Talk about the series, characters, plot...there's endless topics to discuss. If you want to role play funny with the characters, create a thread in the Insanity Board.

9) Be considerate
If someone SPAM's in a thread or starts a new topic that is purely SPAM, for kami's sake, DON'T REPLY. It then makes your post SPAM. Flag the post and I'll get to it and delete it. Thanks.

10) No _____ vs. _____ Threads
This basically means no character vs character or anime vs anime threads. Everyone has different opinions, so this would never end.

11) Your Friendly Mods
As I said earlier, Shuricel and myself, Amanda, are your mods for this forum. If you have any suggestions on how to revive this forum, we'd be glad to hear it. PM us if you have any questions or concerns.

12) Start off RIGHT! - ADDED JULY 13th!!!!
When you're starting off a thread about a series that doesn't have a topic, give a synopsis of the anime or manga. At least a paragraph of five to six sentences. Then start a topic in your thread, such as "Who is your favorite character?" or "Who's side are you on, ____ or ____?" Something like that. You will receive a warning if you don't.
