Ahh, the bishie thread. The place that makes fangirl's squeal and fanboys swoon. =D
Welcome to the Bishie Thread! The purpose of this thread is to claim your favorite anime/manga characters. These could be characters you like, have a crush on, or you just think they're plain awesome. It can be male, female, neither or whatever. XD Have fun with it! (This thread will NOT include Pokemon characters. I will be created a Bishie Thread Version Pokemon at a later date.) Let's get started shall we? ^^ (Terminology I often use - bishounen: young man/boy or bishoujo: young female/girl)
Rules: (Yep, every thread has to have some.)
1) You are allowed to claim up to FOUR bishounen/bishoujo.
2) You're not able to claim an alternate form of a character (i.e. young/old _____)
3) No cartoon bishounen. (i.e. Teen Titans, Avatar, etc.)
4) As far as fandoms go, if the games have a manga and/or anime, then you are able to claim. (games you cannot claim from: Fire Emblem, The Legend of Zelda, Kirby or Kingdom Hearts)
5) Please provide both the English and Japanese names of the characters. It helps to do this.
6) For the love of kami, use the forms I'm going to give you.
7) If you want to change claims, sure. But you must wait two weeks before doing so.
8) If the character you seek is already claimed by someone else, don't whine. Just claim someone else or get out. There's a lot more fish in the sea.
9) You must be an active member and prevent yourself from being banned on the forums. If caught, your bishie is removed from the list. Also you must be a member for at least one month.
10) If someone is inactive for two months, then you may claim their character but you need to give me a direct link to their profile for proof.
11)When posting, do not post in a different font, color or size. It must be in normal font like this typing right now.
12) Do note the old saying, "FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE"
13) As the last thread, you must type "CLAIMING MY BISHIE~" exactly in uppercase and with the ~ on either the START of your post or the subject title.
14) Have fun with your bishies. All of this is in good fun so don't take it really seriously. If you have any questions or concerns, PM me. ^^

Example: Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist - Amanda (3/12/08)
(Yes, I want them bolded, underlined and italicized just as shown.)
Changing your bishie
Old Claim: Name of Bishie (both English and Japanese) from Name of anime/manga title - your username (date of claim)
New Claim: Name of Bishie (both English and Japanese) from Name of anime/manga title - your username (today's date)
Name Change
(If your name changes, use this if you want to keep your bishies)
Old Username:
New Username:
Bishies: Name of Bishie (both English and Japanese) from Name of anime/manga title - your username (Use that form for each individual character)
The Bad Things That Happen
If you don't use the form, follow the rules or something else, these are the points that will add up. It will be posted right here. It's basically like a Wall of Shame. *shakes head* (Point Idea from Sweet May of Serebii.Net Forums)
- Spamming/Flaming [2 points] - a warning. Perma-ban if constant.
- Failure to use the secret phrase [4 points] - one week ban
- Failure to use the correct form [4 points] - one week ban
- Failure to do anything correctly (more than once) [6 points] - one month ban
Reach twenty points and you will be banned from having any bishies at all. ;___;
