Hey, Valentine here, and I want to know:
Do you prefer the regular pokemon games, or the mystery dungeon series?
Personally, I favor the Mystery Dungeon series, for many reasons including that you can use up to four pokemon at a time, and you are them. Just seems too cool to me.
So, what does everyone else think?
EDIT: Adding in the Console games as well. Speak your minds people!
I like the Mystery Dungeon gameplay, but it's really unbalanced compared to the traditional Pokemon gameplay (which is only less unbalanced).
I wish that the Mystery Dungeon series could have had vs battles against other players, but attacks that hit the entire room/floor would have probably dominated.
I agree, but I still prefer the Mystery Dungeon series.
that's actually a really great Idea, versus play in the Mystery dungeon series would be great, you have the chice to like, race to the end or just go head to head. Good idea.
Maybe a big maze for versus battles would work. Teams start in different rooms and the teams (forcibly) have to split up to find the other team to battle against.
I'd have to say MD as well. I just love the storylines and they're a nice break from going around collecting badges all the time.
I prefer more good old classic games, I didn´t like Mystery Dungeons so much.
Thought I only have the Red Rescue Team version, so I don´t know what it would be like on DS, but still.
Maybe I´m just too used to the classic gameplay system. : D
Mystery Dungeons are cute, and I can play my Red Rescue Team once in a while, but they are not so much to my like.
I've been playing Pokemon Mystery Dongeon Explorers of Darkness for quite a while, and it can be frustrating. I prefer Classic Gameplay IMO.
1. In Mystery Dongeons it takes forever for your team members to level up.
2. I don't get how your supposed to throw ammo at an enemy (I've tried it a thousand times)
3. The Traps (Especially the ones that make you confused)
4. Some moves do different things (ex: Pursuit in Classic Gameplay inflicts damage, in Mystery Dongeon it's a counter attack)
I like both i guess, but the Gamecube games were better than either. ^^
Ahhh, that would be an interesting one. I'll ad console games to the list then, just for you.
EDIT: Or, rather, I don't think you can actually. I guess people will just have to say then. ^^,
