I made this so that I could talk a few things over about a site i'm planning.
First of all, does any one care if I lie about my age on somthing like SMFforfree or somthing? I want to know because if anyone rats me out, my parents would most likely hear about it, and that would be the end of me on the comp.

It is againts the law to lie about your age T.T
its the internet..... everyone lies about everything. just look at myspace.
And besides, whoever would we tell, even if we felt such moral responsibility to tell someone?
The age thing on most sites is just to cover their butts if there's something naughty posted or something.
But I have a simple solution - Don't lie about your age.
No one will care, unless you make a big deal of it and write to the company, or something.
But, my best advice would be to go ahead with it, and make the 'forum', you originally intended to.

Yeah, best example ever. I started making websites when I was 12 and I had to lie about my age everywhere since the requirement was 13 so I lied everywhere. =P
So unless your forums/website becomes really successful,
which I sorta doubt considering the fact that you're going to use smfforfree, and get heaps of guests and members who are pedophiles I don't think you should should be too worried about lying about your age.
