There was an Elite 4 in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, which one was the most difficult to battle? I would have to say the Kanto Elite 4 because I remember battling them and getting really frustrated, especially Agatha. Agatha was really hard to beat because her Haunter and Gengar would use Hypnosis and Night Shade on my Pokemon a million times and I thought that was just annoying.
None.
I beat them all. C=
Kanto was challenging, though.
I'd say Kanto too.

Johto and Hoenn had really low levels, and Sinnoh had relatively high levels, but I'd trained my Pokemon so much that they were 10 levels higher than the E4 pokemon anyway, so Sinnoh was easy as well.

I've always thought Hoenn had less trainers around than the other games. Maybe that's why the E4 levels are lower.
Kanto. It was WAY harder to beat them the second time; they were all up at least five levels, I believe. That is, in FR/LG anyway.
Kanto & Jhoto
I won both with less than 10HP on my last Pokemon...XD
But Kanto was always more challanging ^^
It's been a while, so I can't remember well...

I think Kanto was challenging in R/B because I didn't know what I was doing (I never challenged them more than once in FR/LG)

Hoenn was fairly challenging for me the first time around...

Sinnoh was truly challenging for me the first time around too; I was about 20 levels below the champ when I won O_o
Kanto was probably the hardest for me, because I didn't know what was happening, and why the Elite fours level were so high.

Johto and Hoenn were probably the most easy Elite four to defeat, but Sinnoh is a completely different story, even though I was about five or so level's ahead of the champion, I still had alot of trouble against Cynthia.
Meh. Kanto. I cant even beat it. yah, im that bad at kanto.
Johto because i used mostly unevolved pokemon, four of which were grass types.

That was a pain >>
Red and Blue the first time was challenging... Then I discovered Missingno and I've owned every E4 since.

No matter what version I'm playing, I'm always sure that my Pokémon is at least LV15 before challenging the first Gym. Then if I just up it 5 levels between Gyms. As a general rule, the first play through I try to stick to raising one Pokémon so I have some idea of the game's level and design and can base my strategies off that.
