Discuss the manga/anime of D. Gray Man (DGM). Remember to warn others in your post of spoilers if you post any!

For those who do not know about D. Gray Man:
(From Wikipedia (which has an accurate summary))

'Set during the end of a nineteenth century on a fictional Earth, D.Gray-man mostly centers around 15-year-old Allen Walker, who is gifted with the ability to control a weaponized form of a divine substance from ages past, called Innocence, and becomes an Exorcist of the Black Order. This secretive organization aims to stop the plan set in motion by the Millennium Earl to destroy all life on Earth, thus 'cleansing' it. But the Earl has raised an army of Akuma, created by taking advantage of grief over a loved one's death, and summoned the direct descendants of Noah himself, the 13-strong Noah family, to aid him in his second attempt. Because of the Akuma's ability to wear a human's skin, they are nearly undetectable by any human. Allen proves to be a powerful asset as his 'cursed' left eye is able to detect the Akuma. But soon, this battle nearly turns into a race to collect the 109 Innocence fragments, scattered since the Great Flood of Noah, as the search to find the most powerful Innocence, the 'Great Heart', ensues.'

The storyline seems simple enough, but explaining it in your own words is a difficult task (there's so much going on at once!).

Currently has 93 episodes (as of July 23, 2008) and 167 manga chapters.

I myself would recommend this anime/manga for anyone into action and/or comedy anime/manga because it delivers both the perfect amount of each. Plus the ocassion giant robot of awesome-craziness :3

So...DISCUSS! x3
Oh, I love D. Gray-man! x3
I'm only on volume 2 of the manga, and episode 2 of the anime.. x_x
But it's good so far :33
Yay! At least one other person knows of this anime! xD

Stick with it. It only gets better :3 'specially the manga.
Ha, it is pretty good. :3

The second volume of the manga like... freakin' owned.
I've been wanting to watch this series so badly, but it was recently licensed by FUNimation, so I'll wait patiently for the English dub. Smile

I'll probably check out the manga that's already out in English though. ^_~
I love D.Gray-man.
I can't wait to see what happened to cross… manga…
I like D. Gray-man.
I've already read all of what's out as far as the manga goes, and I'm on episode 31 of the anime (however, I don't think I'll continue to watch it. I'll probably just read it).
Yune forced me into watching it.

AND IT IS EPIC MELONS. >D

My main worry right now is that it's going to be one of those ones that began with a really good concept, though, and then went on and on and on and on until it was a pile of failcakes.
@ Shuri - Yeah, it kind of goes back and forth (at least in the manga) with being awesome then boring and horrible to no end. It was in a slump for a few chapters of the manga for a while but then picked right back up :3 I don't think the manga-ka (is tat the right term?) is going to let DGM become failcakes soon....possibly next year x3 lol j/k

Cause also, to some extent it seems to be close to the peak of the plot (yet again, in the manga) so I don't think it's going to catch the Naruto-syndrome (IT NEVER ENDS Dx ).
