Hello everyone! I've been a Pokemon fan since 2000, when they started broadcasting anime in my country. I used to collect TAZO back then. Then came the games: FireRed, Ruby, Silver. I also played everything up to and including the 6th generation. My favourite Pokemon games were probably Crystal, Emerald and Platinum. I pre-ordered Pokemon Sun, but went down the route 3 and threw the console a corner. I also stopped watching anime during the Sun & Moon broadcast period. I recently got back into Pokemon after a few years and am intensively catching up. I've watched Pokemon Journeys and Pokemon Horizons as well as the backlog of 5 cinema movies. I'm also playing Pokemon White again. Maybe after that it will be time for the abandoned Pokemon Sun. On top of that, I'm thinking about buying a Switch 2. In the previous decade I wrote a lot on various Polish Pokemon sites as an editor or editor-in-chief. Now I've set up my own site, Poketto.pl (it's a week old). I am very excited about the return of the Mt. Moon Community! Hi again!

I really hate investor bros and Scalpers. I am usually not a negative person, but seeing people who don't even like pokemon destroy it angers me. A few years ago when we went through this in 2021 I went to the card section at Target and a man was holding a lot of theme decks, rebel clash (stuff most people would consider undesirable. I dunno a better way to phrase it). He goes "Man, you've got to buy this stuff! It's worth so much." As he struggled to hold it. I smiled, but couldn't help but think how stupid this guy was. And how it was people like him ruining the hobby for everyone. That's all they see is dollar signs. There wasn't too much actually left so I didn't end up buying anything. But throughout the course of 2021 I kept seeing the same thing: people who don't actually know anything about pokemon buying cards because everyone else wanted it and they thought they could make a dollar. I understand I am beating a dead horse. . .I know we all hate scalpers, but I really hate scalpers. I can only hope Pokemon Company prints these sets into the ground. I don't even get excited when sets are announced because it's a reminder that guys like that one in Target are gonna ruin it for everyone. I also cringe in YouTube videos when the dollar signs appear. Uhhhh I am done rambling for now. Big shoutout to PJ who has helped me get a specific card in the past that I couldn't get due to scalpers. We all have to band together and help each other out!

I miss my phone with the pull out keyboard!! They should make it to where you can use two phones on one number because I'd totally rock an old phone too. I had a Samsung intensity (not sure which model) and I could type so fast on that thing. I hope "retro" becomes cool soon because i'd love a smart phone with a pull out keyboard. You and I have the same misses :)

I might be the only one, but there are some things that I really miss that were replaced by new technology or trends. Phones with keyboards I loved my Sidekick 3 in high school. Also had an HTC G1 Android phone with a physical keyboard. Translucent plastic designs Whether it was N64s or iMacs, there was such a fun element to some products with the colored plastic. A lot of stuff today feels almost too utilitarian/sleek/minimal. Zune Probably the least relatable to most people, but I miss my Zune. Maybe others had a favorite MP3 player. Now we just have our phones. Curious to hear if anyone else has any tech or tech trends they miss!

Heya! I'm Hal Kozak, or HalKozy, and I've been a Pokémon fan since 1999. I started with Pokémon Blue and was hooked on the series like many fellow 90s kids were. I got out of Pokémon for a bit after beating Sapphire in 2003, then got back in with SoulSilver in 2010 and have stayed a fan ever since. I'm so glad forums seem to be making a comeback online. When certain social media platforms began to collapse, I made the prediction we'd see a rise in forums again, so I hope this will be a continued trend across fandoms. Nice to meet you!
