I initially hadn't, but my parents surprised me with doing so as an early birthday present (my birthday is in July). My main hope was just to get one by the time the additional Kirby content released, but I'm glad I won't have to worry about it during the holiday rush now at least.

I hope you manage to get some! I still like to try and bring my 3DS in hopes of finding some, but I definitely do so less and less often... I honestly miss it a lot. I love StreetPass so much and also was disappointed to see nothing related to it or any kind of Mii related thing for Switch 2 (especially after the Tomodachi Life 2 announcement). Personally, I think they could absolutely have some kind of internal game and then have like... one of those peripherals Pokemon GO/Sleep has or like how the Dreamcast had the VMU and that could be used to gather Streetpass and then connect back to the Switch 2. The fact that Miis still seem to be given the boot and the lack of any kind of similar thing (I adored the StreetPass games so much too) blows my mind. There was a DS game I loved as well called Treasure World that essentially let you find items by finding other DS' and Wifi networks in the world which I super enjoyed.

Yeah it's probably not easy for a lot of people. I know some people voted too quickly and overlooked some of their favourites too. I think they need to carefully consider them!

Good to see you like the sprite as well. However I did update it a bit to get closer to the Gen 1 style sprites, especially the eyes. Also I drew a Chikorita for collab. While it's not my finest work, I had to meet the deadline. If I'd constantly worry about quality, I couldn't get anything done.

Thank you! Yes, I was unsure if I should even attempt it, because if the poll doesn't reach far, the results won't give an accurate view. Thankfully, voting is going beyond expectations at the moment, and if the pace of this keeps up, we are going to see some really clear results and insight into which Pokémon people love!

I had Vileplume and Dragonite, however I found the keychain a bit annoying. Why couldn't hey be just a regular toy? Looking back at it they were pretty cool though.

Hello Pokémon fans! Darren here from Johto Times. I am making a post here to bring attention to the Johto Times Favourite Pokémon Poll 2025 edition. The goal is to reach as many Pokémon fans as possible, and determine which Pokémon is the fans’ favourite. Between May 17th and July 31st, 2025, Johto Times will run a poll for each Pokémon generation, from Kanto to Paldea, and invite Pokémon fans to cast their vote on their favourites! Participants can vote for their six favourite Pokémon in each poll. Each poll will run for ten weeks, between May 17th and July 31st, 2025. In August 2025 we will reveal the results of each poll, and the top ten Pokémon from each will move through to the grand final, which will take place later that month. Does anyone else love collecting those pokemon kids meals toys from the 90s? I have been getting a few during various holidays over the years and I almost have all of my favorite. There's something about them that's just so charming! My most recent one I have gotten is the vileplume keychain. You know, I have a Switch, Legends: Z-A will be compatible with it. Since I would only play Pokemons anyway, I don't see the slightest point now. Besides, there are a lot of ambiguities further down the line. Once rumors are going around that the games won't be on cartridge, now they supposedly will be. I'm completely at a loss as to what to rush into. In a few months everything will be clear.

I mean, they retconned their own plots a bit literally with the Sun/Moon second versions and ORAS' split timeline-- I feel like they could absolutely just have the two areas combined in some way with little explanation.
