  1. I'm kind of nervous to try out this real-time combat... sounds like a lot of people are enjoying from the rounds of previews we've been able to get but the cooldowns also sound like they could make actually firing off an impactful move frustrating to wait for.
  2. I also need to watch KPDH. I like the song Golden -- comes up in my Pop lists :) Lately been listening to JADE's new album! YT playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJ0mcvzXbeELT4hRrNbfiOXyqD8voVq7k
  3. Crazy part is that all 20 Vivillon patterns would be $339.80 USD at the current $16.99 price 💀
  4. Hi!

Welcome, we're happy to have you! Thanks for sharing your Tumblr too, will have to check that out :)
  5. This will probably surprise no one, but I am a Leafeon fan! When it was first revealed and in Gen IV I was actually on the fence about its design because I wanted even more leaves/foliage/nature but now I appreciate the way its Grass-typing is worked into the design. My runner-ups are Vaporeon and Espeon; two sleek Eevee-lutions that are also very cute. Something about Vaporeon's collars/fins are very cool to me. Also thought it was awesome as a kid how it could 'disappear' in water in the anime. I also want to say that I'm a big fan of Eevee itself, even unevolved :)
  6. @Zapiarty I feel like you may have a theme going too 😂 I also love Shiny Hydrapple! @Teo Shiny Furret is adorable 😍
  7. Happy to have you! Welcome! That's a pretty fun origin story for a Trainer 😂 Guess that's why all Trainers have a Mom in the games... they're there to help you start your journey right lol
  8. I am a sucker for red or pink Shinies. Below are some of my favorites: There are definitely some that are not red or pink that I like, such as Primal Groudon, but thought it would be more fun to compile some of my favorites that were similar.
  9. I think that's coming soon! That would be awesome if you have an extra!
  10. Here's what I ended up buying now that the plushies were released in the West: Fomantis Lurantis Pyukumuku Cutiefly Turtonator Kommo-o Ultra Necrozma Dusk Mane Necrozma Blacephon And I also picked up the Leafeon figure too... expensive day 💸
  11. @Zachery We need an update!! Also I need accountability on my: Coding practice Japanese studies PJ video editing ... and more ... my brain is too ADHD and as soon as something new pops into my brain I forget what I was supposed to be working on
  12. Hot take indeed 😂 In some ways I agree, but I also think the ability to take on 8 more Gyms helps the story. A lot of times the routes just feel like filler unless you're just looking for a Pokémon there.
  13. Wo-Chien and Chi-Yu are my favorite Treasures of Ruin Pokémon, so really hoping we smash that 1 million victories requirement (I'm sure we will)!
  14. It is really interesting the color 'evolution' we've seen with Bulbasaur. I don't feel too strongly about that topic BUT I do feel strongly about the lack of vibrancy on its 3D model (and 90% of all 3D models).
  15. Are you asking or advertising? lol
  16. The Pokémon series is well known for releasing its mainline games in pairs and, previously, there would often be a third game (or a new pair of games) released that changed things up a bit. We've seen: Pokémon Yellow Pokémon Crystal Pokémon Emerald Pokémon Platinum Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Let us know which was your favorite generational follow-up title and why! Personally, I really enjoyed Pokémon Crystal and Pokémon B2/W2. Crystal added amazing animated sprites which really made the game feel more alive. I think it was also an important step forward to add the option to play as a female protagonist. B2/W2 I enjoyed just for another romp through Unova, this time with some Pokémon from past games available before the endgame, and the many narrative changes it made.
  17. I think this is going to be wildly predictable, but Grass and Bug are my favorite Pokémon types! I also enjoy Poison, Psychic and Fairy types!
  18. Inspired by my ridiculous Twitter posts, I'm wondering if people think we'll get a new Eevee evolution at some point. What would you like to see? Personally, I would actually love to see a Poison or Bug-type Eevee evolution! Not sure if they're popular enough types to ever see one though.
  19. I voted Mega Evolution, however I do think they did a better job in later Generations making it more obvious that the battle gimmick was tied to the region. Mega Evolutions are done so well they usually just look like regular evolutions for a Pokémon, so it's really disappointing that you can't use them outside of battle and they've historically been locked to Gen 6. Edit: I thought the visual effects of Dynamax and the Terastal Phenomenon were cool, but wish the latter didn't have the large gems.
  20. Love it 😍 We needed a Taylor x Pokémon song for Worlds this year... maybe for 2026 since it'll be the series' 30th anniversary.
  21. I could see that... would be so fun if Jigglypuff was a secret unlockable character lol
  22. Watching now but I am hyped. This was such a big part of my childhood that I'm basically going to have to buy it at launch. Not that far in but I hope they kept the city mode!! EDIT: Aaaaaahhhh it looks awesome. Besides a lil disappointment there's only one City Trial stage, it all looks great. Love the expanded cast of riders and addition of new machines. Courses also look amazing.
  23. The final round of our Pokémon TCG Pocket tournament was a fierce showdown in which each of the five finalists had to face each other. In the end, @nerradlife emerged as the ultimate winner! Thank youI want to sincerely thank all of the participants — I wasn't sure how many people would join our inaugural tournament, or if we'd even be able to hold one, but we had a great showing. I believe all matches were able to be completed too. So thank you to everyone who took part! Really appreciate the great sportsmanship we saw. I also want to say a huge thank you to @Teo and @Zachery for helping organize the tournament. This definitely could not have happened without their help! Potential changes based on the first tournamentI think there are some changes we might make for future tournaments: Have participants vote on a single win-or-lose match or best-of-three match style for battles Try to organize some streaming of matches if that's something people would be interested in Make rules clearer based on questions that came in during the tournament Encourage people to set avatars so that we can use them in any graphics (a lot of Sewaddles this time!) And we're also very open to feedback so that we can make things as fun as possible. Congratulations to nerradlife and let's hope we can put on another tournament before the year ends!
  24. Oooh, that turned out great! And I was going to guess Luxury Ball too haha
  25. Yeah, not all Water-types can be as cool as Bruxish Seriously though, that is one of the great mysteries of the Pokémon series. Along with the little critters never pooping. Would be fun to see an in-game explanation for it, like that their main elemental affinity is water but they can also float using moisture in the air or something crazy like that. I don't think it's ever been addressed though. I also feel like the anime is a lot stricter with fish Pokémon only being sent out in water battlefields or natural water bodies.
