Personally, while there are a lot of fun Mega Evolutions, these are my top favorites: Mega Absol - Love the angel-like wings that its Mega adds Mega Beedrill - Looks much more badass and deadly than regular Beedrill Mega Mawile - Like the addition of a second mouth and overall just looks very cool to me Mega Gallade - Adds more flair to Gallade's original design Mega Heracross, Slowbro, Diancie, Charizard Y are also very cool. Probably nostalgia, but Gen II has my favorite starters. I like all three, although Chikorita is my favorite. Gen III is a close second and actually Gen VIII is my third. I don't like the final evolutions of Grookey or Sobble that much, but they both have adorable designs.

Appreciate the breakdown... I'm personally really interested in VR and am hoping we get wearable glasses that can do Augmented Reality but sometimes I struggle to think of a use case for these kind of glasses. Because they seem like cool tech (spontaneous pictures, music) but too expensive to justify for me.

When I saw your Cherish Ball on Discord, I didn't even know it opened! These are really impressive! That Premier Ball looks super good too

I'm a Conan Gray fan, so I've been listening to his new song lately. Feel like he captured that feeling of the end of a relationship pretty well, both in the song and music video. Also, super random but YouTube recommended it to me (???) and actually it's a bop. I wasn't the biggest BEP fan back in 2009 so I didn't listen to it I guess lol. Also, nothing against the band, I was just much more into Lady Gaga during that period.

Wow! That's awesome! It's kinda fun to wear as a pedometer and have some extra motivation for exercising or just stretching your legs if you work from home. I know it can be a touchy subject for some, we lost Ash and got a whole new cast of characters — but now that there's been some time to watch Liko and Roy's adventure, what are your thoughts? Personally, I have not watched the anime in many, many years. But since it's available on Netflix, I was curious to see what Horizons was like with the new protagonists. I was actually pleasantly surprised and am enjoying it so far. Made me very nostalgic thinking back to some of the early days of Ash's adventure in the anime. Curious to hear what others think!

Just wanted to share a thread in which we can share what games we're playing at the moment :) Right now: Pokémon Scarlet, was picking up Shiny Pachirisu and Pawmi during the Mass Outbreak Mario Kart World, the only actual Switch 2 game I have (lol) World of Warcraft to get the mount from the Diablo Greedy Emissary event

I really like this idea and was going to do something similar, was kind of mulling over Gym Badges or if something else would work, but I think you're right — Mt. Moon is a Kanto location so it would make sense to start with that region's badges. We can expand to other regions as people move up ranks too

Ash travelled extensively with his Pikachu and, even unevolved, was a powerhouse when it came to battles. If you could choose one Pokémon to travel with that could far surpass the capabilities of what you'd expect even if it was not evolved or was traditionally viewed as being a "weaker" Pokémon, what would you choose? I'd probably travel alongside one of the following: Sewaddle Dunsparce Parasect Cherrim Carnivine Nuzleaf Ariados Curious to hear who your exceptional partner would be!
