Question of the Week: what Pokémon would make for the most annoying co-worker??

MMC-QOTW-2026-04-30_worst-coworker.jpg

I work from home, so I am always being annoyed by my cats (love them tho) and it got my thinking about pokemon and coworkers. Which pokemon would be the most annoying coworker?

Psyduck came to mind for me. I gave PJ an image I had in my head haha I hope he includes it in the featured image (PJ note: sorry!!). I think Magmorter would be a lot to put up with too because he'd burn everything down!

Psychic types would be pretty chill tbh. Could tell me about work stuff before I even know about it.

I know this is a bit silly but have a think about it

When making the featured image, I kind of included Pokémon that I thought represented archetypes of coworkers that can be hard to deal with:

  • Tyrantrum, the co-worker who flips out about little things

  • Psyduck, the co-worker who never seems to know what's going on

  • Whismur, the co-worker who will never speak up and leaves everything to others

  • Slaking, the co-worker who slacks off constantly

  • Malamar, the co-worker (or worse, manager!) who tries to control and micromanage everything

If we're thinking about actual Pokémon species who would be annoying to be next to physically, any of them that are loud, smelly or rambunctious 😅

I feel like this is actually really hard because there are too many factors to think about like what kind of job it is in the first place, what the place you work looks like, etc. So many may be terrible in one category but amazing in another.

I guess the closest if I really had to pick would be Slowpoke and I mean, he wishes you a Happy New Year for Valentine's Day, it's kind of obvious why. Would be fun to befriend, but definitely not super dependable with a workload.
