Hello everyone,

I came from Bsky and am now entering Mt. Akagi Moon as well. I do agree that centralized social media platforms create an uncomfortable enviroment and am glad that forums get another chance. As for myself I played Pokémon since 2003, but got started with Pokémon Red. Used games were cheaper back then so I got that instead of the GBA games. Eventually though I got my hands at Leafgreen and Emerald and really got to see how much quality of life improvements were made through the generations. Suddenly everthing looked so clean and colourful and the music had so much more depth. I still adore the GB games though, they're classics for a reason. Of course I got to see Ken Sugimori's watercolour illustrations and since then he is a big inspiration to me. I'll try to upload some of my fanarts more or less frequently here in the forum.

I feel like there was really something special about Gen III... even just from the opening animation. World really felt alive with the colors and sound. I hope we eventually see RSE and FRLG on the Switch/2 (and ideally as an actual release, not just the Switch Online membership which can add and remove games or eventually shut down).
