My name is Teo (he/they). I’m a researcher in Sociology and a lifelong Pokémon fan 🌱

I’m genuinely happy to have found an active forum like this! It brings back memories of my teenage years, when online communities felt more human and engaging. Back then, I even ran a forum called "Pokémon Splash," where I met some of my dearest friends!

I’ve seen others say it already, and I wholeheartedly agree: building meaningful communities on mainstream social media has become nearly impossible, given the tyranny of algorithms, oligarchic platform owners, and the overwhelming spread of passively generated AI content.

I’m really looking forward to connecting with all of you, and playing lots of TCGP, my latest obsession hahaha

Absolutely, even if we must say it can be a bit overwhelming and even make you want to cry with some sets' bad pull rates! I recently completed the Lunala/Solgaleo set after going through around 150 booster packs 🥲

But I'm having a fantastic time with this "20 cards per deck" format! 🃏

Regarding the forum, it was just a small one in Italian, so nothing significant! However, it played a massive role in developing my passion for Pokémon 😄
