If you dont know im half. Spanish, and I was just telling PJ how amazing Spanish omelets and he cooked one! So I thought I’d spread the delicious joy to everyone else. 🥰

Here are three Spanish dishes I highly recommend trying. You gotta look up recipes yourself tho!

Tortilla Española. It has potato, egg, onion, olive oil, and salt. My family adds red pepper but that is not the norm. These are pretty common in america too.

Patatas Bravas. These are crispy fried potatoes topped with a slightly spicy tomato sauce and a creamy garlic mayo. Usually a snack but its common to have with salad.

Pollo al Ajillo. This is chicken simmered in olive oil, garlic, and white wine. It’s verrrrrry flavorful. It’s rustic and full of that comforting homemade taste that feels like a hug. Hard to explain.

I atatched an image but its not mine its from google.

I’m always looking to try new things, so if you have a favorite dish from your country, please drop it below, I’d love to try it! I love to eat!! 😋

OMG I love these two! I always make sure to order them when I go to a Spanish restaurant 😍

image.pngRegarding me, I think an Italian dish that everyone should try is "tajarein". It's a specific type of pasta typical of my region (Piedmont, northwest Italy), and it's particularly good, especially when paired with truffles! I used to make them with my grandma a lot when I was a kid - very stereotypical, I know 😆

Ok, going out for Tapas is my absolute favorite thing. We always do it on our anniversary or birthdays etc. Patatas Bravas is always a great fav, but I've never tried making it homemade, so I'm gonna try it out since it looks so good!

Oh, you're in Italy? My fiance is italian and we frequently come visit. I even lived in Milan for about a year before COVID. This dish is excellent; she makes it often, and her grandmother has a recipe which is incredible but of course she will not tell us what it is lol

Oh wow, I’m so glad you had the chance to try it! I understand why her Nonna won’t share the original recipe. Mine does the same thing; she says, “You can have this recipe when I’m no longer in this world. Until then, you need to come and visit your Nonna if you want to eat this” 💕
