We were discussing this topic on our Discord, so I thought it might be nice to create a poll and ask everyone: who is your favourite Pokémon starter trio? 💡

Mine is the Johto one, without any doubt. It's the only one where I like all the final forms - and Chikorita has been my favourite starter of all time since I played Crystal on my purple Game Boy Color as a kid 🌱

It's a very tricky one to answer. If it was individual I would say Rowlet or Cyndaquil wins. In most cases I like two out of three starters. With this in mind, I think the original trio wins it for me

Yes, it wasn't easy for me either to decide because there are some starters I really like (e.g., Rowlet, Piplup, Bulbasaur and Fuecoco) and some generations where I like two out of three... And I understand why you're choosing the Kanto trio, as that would have been my second choice since I started playing Pokémon with Yellow! ⚡️

For me, it's gotta be Johto. There's just something about them. And I know it's not nostalgia, because I actually played the johto games waaay after I had played red and blue, RSE, etc. As a kid it was the hoenn starters, but now it's definitely Johto.
