I am very keen to see some of the cool Pokémon items and merchandise that users may have from the late 90s and early 2000s era of Pokémon. There's something very charming about this era, and while a lot of the focus these days appears to be on the current items for sale, it's great to look back to the very earliest days too!

I have too many to list, but I have shared a lot of them in my newsletter (I hope it's ok to share these here!)

Unfortunately I don't think I have much of these anymore but the ones that stick out the most from my childhood are:

• This Pikachu plush that I carried everywhere until the yellow started fading and the whites of its eyes disappeared, making it look like a demon. (I know I still have this one but no idea where it is)

• This big headed Munchlax doll that my mom bought me at a touring Pokémon event. Also know I kept this one, but no idea where haha.

• The iconic electric Pokédex toy. I remember this being so important to me.

• Maybe I'm remembering this wrong but I feel like there was an Eon Ticket event — you had to go to Toys "R" Us? — I could be off. But there was some kind of Gen 3 event at Toys "R" Us. Either way, we were like the last ones in line and the dudes running the thing gave us a box of leftover posable Pokémon figures that they had been giving away for free. I remember they were made of soft plastic and were lightweight and hollow inside. We had a Mewtwo and I think Latios, Latias, and some others I can't remember. I Googled but am not seeing any pics.

I've enjoyed going back through the memories of old merch via your newsletter!
