Question of the Week: What is your favourite Poké Ball?
That's a good point... I also wonder what it represents. It's a cool design but I don't see any connection with the Pokémon affection-boosting aspect.

Question of the Week: What is your favourite Poké Ball?
So, aesthetically, my three favorite types of Poké Balls are the Dream Ball, Cherish Ball and Luxury Ball. I think all just look top notch 👌 There are also some really cool anime-only balls that I think are super cool and wish we'd get in game. Strange Ball also gets a nod because I love the weird green look. Conversely, one of my least favorite Poké Balls is the GS Ball, even though it looks super cool, because the anime never told us what was in it 😡 That always annoyed me as a kid lol

Question of the Week: What are your New Year's resolutions?
Welcome to 2026! Do you have any particular New Year's resolutions for this year? It doesn't even have to be Pokémon related, could just be life goals. Personally, I'm working on: Being more active to counteract sedentary computer-based work Finish some website updates I've wanted to get out Catch a Kecleon with its HA in OR so that I can transfer it to Brilliant Diamond And, speaking of transfers, maybe work on using Pokémon Bank to get any event 'mons to Home before the servers actually close down Curious to hear what you hope to do/start/accomplish this year!

Question of the Week: What is the most unusual nickname you have ever given to a Pokémon?
Wasn't a nickname I gave it... but someone traded me a Heracross named Bois!?

Kirby Air Riders First Impressions
Ooh, so jealous! Sounds like a lot of fun! Definitely picking this up at some point -- I'm most curious to see how it plays compared to the Gamecube title that I spent so much time playing during childhood haha

Question of the Week: Is Pokémon part of your holiday Celebrations?
The holidays are in the air; Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and the New Year may influence your current plans with family and friends, as well as festive decor in your house. With many holiday items available at the Pokémon Center and other retailers, does Pokémon play any part of your celebrations? Any winter Pokémon GO sessions to celebrate time off from work and/or school with friends? Personally, I have our Pokémon stockings out 😂 And I've had my Pikachu & Ekans ceramic figure out for the entire year in my living room since 2025 was a year of the Snake. Curious to hear your thoughts and bonus points for pictures!

Question of the week: You're allowed to add one new evolution to an existing Pokémon. Who gets it?
Maybe obscure choices, but I would love to see Durant and Heatmor get evolutions! They are cool Pokémon but don't stand out competitively. I think both have designs that could be embellished in cool ways if they evolved. Otherwise, maybe a Paras evolution that showed the mushrooms being utilized by the bug instead of them taking over ala Parasect.

Question of the Week: What's your favorite unique Pokémon?
This week we're wondering if you have a favorite Pokémon that's unique among its species. It doesn't matter if it's from the games or anime — we want to know if you are particularly attached to any special Pokémon. The upcoming cozy game Pokémon Pokopia just showed us several new unique Pokémon we'll meet when the game launches: Peakychu, Smearguru, Mosslax and Prof. Tangrowth! So let us know if you're an Ash-Greninja fan, a Cosplay Pikachu fan or have a different favorite unique Pokémon. And although not visually distinct, Meowth from the anime could probably be considered one of these Pokémon since it has the unique ability to speak. For my own favorite, I think I'm going to have to go with the Pink Butterfree featured in the anime! One of the most memorable storylines and also just a gorgeous Butterfree :)

Things I need accountability for
I've been trying to get better at sleeping earlier. Set an alarm at 10:40 PM to remind myself I better get off the computer. Hope it works one of these days to actually get me to get off LOL

Question of the Week: What's your favorite gimmick Pokémon?
There are quite a number of Pokémon that are based on certain gimmicks, including ones you have to hold the device upside-down to evolve them and one that can transform into any other Pokémon. Some are ability-based, some are evolution-based, some have certain requirements to get their Egg or their design could be considered a gimmick. Today we're wondering what your favorite gimmick-based Pokémon is and why! Personally, I'm a huge Kecleon fan! It has a fun design and its ability to disappear (at least in the anime) except for its belly stripe is cute.

Question of the Week: What's your favorite Pokémon spin-off game?
I keep waiting for news about when we're going to see that on NSO after they were teased 😭
-
Question of the Week: What's your favorite Pokémon spin-off game?
There are a number of Pokémon games outside the main canon, including Pokémon Rangers, Conquest, Detective Pikachu and many, many more. It really seemed like the Nintendo DS era was a heyday for side games and it's been awhile between them in recent years. Luckily we do have the recently announced Pokémon Pokopia to look forward to! But today I'm curious about what people consider their favorite spin-off game from the series. Personally, I really enjoyed the Pokémon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy. Day-to-day, I play Cafe ReMix and that's quite fun. But I'd really love to see a new Conquest or Pinball title!! PLEASE!! 🙇🙏

Question of the week: What's Your Legends: Z-A team?
-
My thoughts on Legends ZA
That's where I get hung up -- I get so distracted just running around lol. I have a hard time focusing on the main story
-
My thoughts on Legends ZA
Agree with everything you said. I like the verticality of climbing the buildings and having environments to explore on the rooftops, but it would've been super cool if they also had a 'sewer' or underground tunnel system as well. Would have added just a little bit more to explore and had more variety for the environment. My team atm: Chikorita Scatterbug Spinarak Binacle Fletchling Soon: Espurr (want to catch in Luxury ball)
