Introduced in Generation II, Baby Pokémon are certainly not battle powerhouses, but they are adorable! There's a total of 19 — do you have favorites among them? The large majority were introduced in Generations II and IV, but we've also seen an addition as recently as Gen VIII. Bulbapedia's page about them is a good place to brush up on your Baby Pokémon knowledge if you need to.

I'm also curious about what people think about the concept in general. Some of these Pokémon have specific requirements to actually get when breeding (Incense) in most games and the pay-off is relatively low — some have Egg Moves exclusive to the Baby Pokémon that you may want to utilize.

Personally, I'm a big fan of Togepi, Cleffa, Magby and Mime Jr.! I will say that in the main series I'm not a huge fan of the concept, just because of the breeding requirements and low stats when you're training them. But I appreciate many of the designs and feel like they help flesh out the Pokémon world.

Cleffa and Togepi have always been my favorite baby Pokemon. I also really love Happiny. Azurill, Mantyke, and Mime Jr. are very cute as well.

A lot are pretty cute, but I always prefer to just catch the Pokemon I need so any time I need to go through special breeding/evolution/etc. requirements and you can't find them just out and about drives me crazy, especially when I've already done so multiple times in the past X-x

Big fan of Mime Jr. As I've gotten older I've just really started to like clowns, mostly harliquins. I have a Mime Jr I nick name in my various games (Sleep/Pokemon Go for now) that I name Button.

I wish we got a Galarian varient, I bet it would be so cute and look like it's in a puffy snow coat.

I love all of them but especially I adore Togepi, Pichu, Cleffa, Azurill, Budew, and Riolu. Also Toxel and I love that it was introduced in Gen 8 after several gens with no new babies. But really all of them are adorable and of course I also suffer from "what's out of sight doesn't exist"/"forgetting everything I've ever known when I need a specific information" lmao rip. The ones I named I especially am fond of either because I adore the whole evolution family, or typically raise them on my team in specific games, or I associate them with favourite trainers of mine, or all of the above.

Related to the topic, during the Mewtwo event in Pokésleep I had Wynaut and Mime Jr. on my helper team for the most part of it and I love that Munchlax got a feature added around it but I need to actually drop by its island to check in more often lol,,,

Elekid ! When I encountered one for the first time in the grand underground, I adored its silly little fangs and how it moved. Really wanted to add it to my team, (I didn't cause I used to have a certain bias that legendaries should only be in my team 💀💀 didn't know the lake trio's weak.)
