Share what your favorite Pokémon is! More than one is perfectly acceptable too :)

Here are some of mine:

• Paras & Parasect: Great combination of Grass and Bug-type and I'm partial to the mushroom theme

• Kingler: I've always just thought it is a really fun crab design and has always been one of my favorite Water types

• Dunsparce: I don't know why I love these guys so much, they're just adorable to me

• Cherrim: Love the sakura design

• Sewaddle, Swadloon and Leavanny: One of my favorite lines out of all Pokémon

• Lurantis: Like the praying mantis-esque design and pink color

Sunflora: Such a bright fun design
Jumpluff: I looove it's shiny. One of the best in the franchise.

I'll list my top six since that seems to be the pattern here so far :P

• Mega Audino - Having been in the Pokemon Collectors community for so long, even if I mainly lurked, I really wanted to have a Pokemon that I just felt connected to in a sense? And just everything from the pastel colors to the magical girl-esque style and the whole healing thing on top of me just really liking Audino as well called out to me. With Audino itself, I just found it very friend-shaped, but I feel like the colors just come together better with its Mega form. I also love it's like... curly whipped cream tail.

• Slurpuff - It's a big squishy marshmallow friend and I love them.

• Alcremie - Can you tell I like dessert themes? :P Specifically, the Ruby Cream with Strawberries is my favorite followed by the "standard" version (Vanilla Cream + Strawberries). I just find it incredibly cute.

• Tinkaton - Reminds me of if you combined Amy Rose, Chao, and Chibi Usa into one creature and they're all favorites. With Amy and the Chao especially, Sonic is another series really important for me so it was hard not to immediately adore her.

• Shiny Ribombee - I just find it... so cute and pleasant to look at? It's hard to say exactly why it's a favorite, but it just makes me feel cozy.

• Dragonair - Despite its simplicity, especially compared to like... everyone else on this list, I've always liked its aesthetic and elegant look. It makes me think of if you like... personified a fountain if that makes sense and I love fountains.

I wanted to add I have gotten a newfound appreciation for Trubbish lately. Cute little garbage kitty :)

It's quite well known that I love Rowlet, but the reasons why surprised me. There's the moment in Pokémon Sun where you choose your Pokémon, and as a bird lover I picked Rowlet. But there was something really special about seeing him choose ME to be HIS trainer! Picking him up and holding him just looked really adorable at the time and I fell in love immediately. I also adore his silly nature in the anime, despite only seeing clips.

I don't evolve my Rowlet, so when I reached the Elite Four in Sun & Moon I beat them without evolving him. To this day, I still haven't evolved it beyond a Rowlet, and that's how it will stay.

As a kid, I absolutely adored Wigglytuff and Rayquaza, but now I would say my favourite is definitely Dragonite. 🐉

The funny thing is that, while writing this post, I'm realising that this is not a mere coincidence, since Dragonite is still a Dragon-type but with cuter traits – a sort of fusion between Wigglytuff and Rayquaza 😆

Arcanine. It's a huge fire dog you can ride. The embodiment of strength, courage and gentleness. A Pokémon that earned the title of legendary by itself. The design is bold but not overdone, it's popular but it's not everywhere nor it's overused and it's strong but not overpowered. What else could you ask of a Pokémon?

Agreed, Arcanine is one of my favourite dog Pokémon! And the gif you posted is adorable ✨🐶

my all-time favorites are nidoran (m) and dusknoir. my first catch in pokemon yellow was a nidoran, and i ran an ask blog on tumblr featuring a dusknoir for a few years and got really attached. i also really like elgyem/beheeyem because it's a fun little alien.

I have a little list! Other than the first one, these aren't really in any particular order.

Shroomish: a grumpy looking mushroom guy! I love doodling it and just adore it so much

Sylveon: Sylveon caught me off guard! I didn't really think much of it at first, but my heart was stolen! I have a shiny Sylveon named Navi in one the games. I love the idea of her soothing ribbons; I think Sylveon is a perfect Pokemon for someone with anxiety!

Paras/Parasect: another mushroom Pokemon! I love the artwork for a lot of their cards and the concept of them being more fungus than bug after their evolution is so cool to me.

Sableye: it's a little cave goblin that eats gems; what's not to love?

Mega Steelix: I don't understand this one myself, but I love Mega Steelix! I think the design is one of my favorites from that time.

Omanyte, Omastar, Kabuto and Kabutops: I'm a lover of the fossils! Unfortunately, I did not go to college, but if I could have gone, I wanted to study deep sea marine life, especially extinct marine life. I've been infatuated with these four since I was a small child.

Some honorable mentions are: Jirachi, Applin, Yamper, Mimikyu, Espurr, all Raichu formes, all Meowth formes, the Porygon line, Flareon and Sprigatito.

I agree, it's adorable! Its grumpy face is so silly, I mean look at it. It seems like it just woke up to go to work hahaha

Since the beginning it has been Squirtle, Wartotle and Blastoise.

But others include Gengar, Darkrai, Lapras, Empoleon, Eevee, Kyogre and Arcanine.
