Pikachu is so iconic that it seems each new generation needs a Pokémon inspired by it! Most of the time that's an electric rodent-like Pokémon, but we've also seen more unique variations like Mimikyu and Marill.

This week we'd like to know which one is your favorite and why!

I'm partial to Dedenne and Togedemaru myself. Dedenne because I think it has a genuinely cute design and rare Electric/Fairy typing and Togedemaru because I like hedgehog-like Pokémon.

I was happy to see that after Plusle and Minun the designs started becoming a lot more diverse and not literally just clones. We've gotten squirrels, flying squirrels, and even Pokémon with unique gimmicks. Wonder what Gen X will bring!

It’s basic but Mimikyu lol. Like many other people, it’s desire to be loved by the masses captured my heart, I love its Ability for how funny it is and the cheese you can pull off with a single guaranteed turn, and it’s one of my favorite types!

Bug pika clone game freak, pls make it happen

I like dedenne! Cause of its design ofc, no explaining (⌒‐⌒)

I also like mimikyu too because it has a nice ability to tank a hit and is quite good in competitive(?)

Mimikyu for me, I love ghost types already and the story of Mimikyu wanting to be loved and thus hiding as the beloved Pikachu just got to me.

I'm quite fond of Dedenne because it actually looks like rodent with it's chubby and round proportions.
