I've actually played some ZA and really like it! The battling system is pretty difficult for me, but it's fun! :)

Neither :P For the original, I want to say I went with Fire Red (though, I went with Blue initially despite picking Charmander as my starter). No real reason beyond because I was going to pick Charmander again. One thing I always do when playing a remake or third version is I pick the same starter, so I just picked the one that matched along with it being the one familiar to me in a way due to it being Leaf Green and not like... Water Blue :P Regardless of the reasons it is that way. Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon pretty much killed my interest in remasters, remakes, and third versions for Pokemon for a whole slew of reasons so it'd take me a lot to ever consider one again. I think the only way I would is if it was a whole new story with all returning Pokemon. If I did play, I'd probably either try to get something close to my very first Pokemon team (Charizard, Articuno, Clefable, Snorlax, Mew, and Pikachu) or go with my six top Kanto favorites (which do have some overlap with that list). But at least for now, I don't really have any interest in replaying a game I already have essentially played through twice ^^;

Now that there's official 2D art of it, you can see all the tiny mistkakes I made with this, but still thanks anyway. I took some creative liberties with Charmeloens's back spikes. I saw it in other fan art and wanted to draw it myself. It builds on Charmander's gen 1 spike and I personally like the idea where they'll eventually form Charizard's wings. Hello to everyone here! I’m - big fan of pokemon (of course) and I’m very interested to see how this goes! I personally like to complete the pokedex in each game, and I’m currently working on creating a living dex for every generation with as few hacks as I can. I collect the games too, just so I can play the older gens on their original hardware. I collect other old games and tech in general too. I also enjoy writing, and I’ve been getting in to art. I love to see other peoples creations as well.

I am really hoping they do! It would honestly be really great to see all Mega Evolutions added in honor of Legends: Z-A. I'd like to use Mega Absol or Beedrill. Corbeau is very tempting to replace Brassius for me.... may have to swap out for awhile.

If they add Mega Audino, which I don't expect to happen because Mega Audino is the mega that is the most shafted of all time, I may finally change my icon from my Mii... maybe.

With physical Pokemon TCG products becoming a little more obtainable as of late, I've been able to once again buy a few things, and I hope you have as well! I know it's rather popular to keep product sealed nowadays, but sealed boxes never last around me! Here's what I opened today and the pulls from all of the boxes. And yes, N's PP Up is a pull for me! I have a collection of nearly 200 of them which started out as a joke between a few friends and has now spiraled into strangers offering me theirs whenever they recognize me. No, I will never stop. Corbeau is a hit because he is husband and Wurmple because it is cute <3 What have you pulled recently?

With the Nintendo Switch re-releases coming later this week, have you decided which you'll be playing (or at least playing first) between Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen? And is it because of the version exclusive Pokémon or do you have other reasons for your choice? And... have you started planning what team of Pokémon you'll be using? I bought LeafGreen originally and I'll be playing LeafGreen again on the Switch! As for my team, I'm kind of leaning towards trying a Grass and Bug-type only run for Twitch 👀

This was the one trailer I absolutely had to find a moment to watch yesterday, I got emotional from the start and then I saw Frillish in the underwater area and I just 😭🥹🥺 the protagonists both look adorable, and so do the new starters. I'm excited to find out more from further reveals in the coming time, for now I'm partial for Waves because water-affinity and I love the cap

I'll be going with FireRed. My girlfriend wants to play these games together and I feel it's a different type of experience this go around compared to my usual solo play. As for teams, I'm thinking of using Pokemon I've never used before in any Pokemon games. Pokemon like Nidoqueen, Dodrio, Hypno, etc.

I actually made these Mega Audino ones as kind of a throwback to ones I made ten years ago.

This is actually what I was going to say. I really want a full Pokemon Center or more environmental sets with smaller Pokemon. If I picked an object, it'd be nice to have Mega Stones as I continue being biased forever, but it also bugs me that there has been barely any actual mega stone merch in the first place (just the glittery toy ones and the promotional Raichu one that was sent in some Influencer boxes I believe alongside ones they had for display only at the Mega Experience). For Pokemon, obviously Mega Audino would be my top pick. That said, I feel like it'd have to be a top favorite for me or look REALLY amazing for me to consider a big dedicated lego set of a Pokemon as I really would prefer something more diorama-esque.

Which pokemon would make for the worst roommate? For me it would be Snorlax. You room with him to save some money on rent, but then he eats all of the food in the fridge and then sleeps all day. He sleeps SO much that he forgets to get a job and then you're stuck with the entire bill anyway, so you get evicted and have to join team rocket for additional money. What about you? Which pokemon would be the absolute WORST roommate?

I have been very slow with it, but Pokemon Diamond! I got an inexpensive copy and have been messing with cute charm. My Japanese isn’t very good though. It’s pretty nostalgic to play Diamond. Later on I want to try the Pokeradar on Pearl for a Glameow shiny, but I struggled using the radar as a kid lol.

I just wanna say FF7 remake on switch 2 is probably my favorite third party game for switch that's ever come Looks beautiful. Seriously, this game is gorgeous Plays beautifully. I notice no frame rate drops or choppy gameplay This is my first time playing FF7 (i never did the original) I the story is very good so far. FF10 & 13 were the only ones I had done previously It plays like a really mature realistic looking kingdom hearts haha If you're on the fence, get it!! and it's only $40 USD. I cannot rave enough about this game.

I agree, the TCG Live app has changed for the better over time, but I've always been put off by the fact that you have to buy physical cards to get new ones in the game. It's a system that makes a lot of sense, but for someone like me who doesn't have a group to play with, it wasn't very sustainable. So for now, I'm sticking with Pokémon TCG Pocket, but I may use the other app in the future ☺️ If you sometimes want to play a few games on Pocket, feel free to DM me! ✨

Not as much as I used to, but I do occasionally! The Live app has changed a ton over the years (it used to be computer only; I remember finding unofficial emulated versions for my phone and tablet so I could play on the go), but it's certainly not perfect. I can definitely understand why you wouldn't like it :) I rather enjoy Pocket! I find myself playing a lot more than I thought I would in the beginning. The battling system has really reeled me in!

Actually, I hadn't thought about the MMORPGification of the main games in the series, you're right! I wonder if we'll see even more elements of this genre of video games in Generation 10 🧐 i hope so! like, are we going to reach a point where there's a mainline game with a full-fledged chat function and all the fancy bells and whistles a mmo typically has? probably not, but i think the core interactive/multiplayer elements are going to get (hopefully) better and better with each game. if that's going to be the case, then that's something i wouldn't mind at all, tbh.

i would've been more on the "absolutely not" train a couple of years back, but seeing how each and every single mainline game seems to be heading in that direction.... i mean, think about it, really. s/v really was kind of the closest thing you could really get to a mmorpg what with the introduction of union circle. while legends: za is more of a single player game than multiplayer, the elements are still there as far as its pvp is concerned. i think, slowly but surely we're going to inch closer and closer to a mmorpg-like experience in mainline games without it being an actual mmorpg. i think that's probably a stretch, but i do think more multiplayer elements are probably going to be present in mainline games moving forward.

I played FireRed as a kid, so now I’m going to give LeafGreen a go. Beyond picking Bulbasaur I’m not sure what team I’m going to go with…I’ve picked Char and my OG was Squirt so I’m going with something new.
