The holidays are in the air; Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and the New Year may influence your current plans with family and friends, as well as festive decor in your house.

With many holiday items available at the Pokémon Center and other retailers, does Pokémon play any part of your celebrations? Any winter Pokémon GO sessions to celebrate time off from work and/or school with friends?

Personally, I have our Pokémon stockings out 😂 And I've had my Pikachu & Ekans ceramic figure out for the entire year in my living room since 2025 was a year of the Snake.

Curious to hear your thoughts and bonus points for pictures!

This year it will NOT be part of my Christmas celebrations, but I do plan to start Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's DLC in the new year.

I hope everyone at Mt. Moon has a lovely Christmas, holiday, and a Happy New Year!

I'm not sure yet how much it will be part of my celebrations, but there will be some shape of Pokémon during my Christmas holidays for sure — ideally I'll play any of the console games, but if not I'll still be checking TCG Pocket and Masters EX. Sadly I don't have much in terms of ornaments and nothing that could even serve as a Christmas tree to decorate at my room (as of now, at least) but I do have my smol collection of fanmerch out year-round (and my few plushies also always nearby)

I also joined a fanwork gift exchange hosted by a fan every year and since the gifts will be published on AO3 on the 24th, that counts too I'd say! Though speaking of gifts, I kinda promised my nephew I'd give him a Pokémon book and I still haven't had a chance to buy one 😹

Pokemon is part of all my holidays! This year thanks to the Pokemon Center selling wrapping paper, all the gifts I’m giving are wrapped in Pokemon paper. And my friends who have small children are getting Pokemon themed gifts (various plush and books for them) and my older friends who also love Pokemon are getting Pokemon sweaters and mugs!

I’m also planning on baking Pokemon sweets from the cookbooks; mainly Rockruff chow & Appletun hand pies

In the sense that I get very excited if I get a Pokemon-related gift and sometimes give some, yes :P But in the sense of having any kind of specific Pokemon decor, not so much.

It's not for lack of wanting-- I LOVE the Holiday dioramas they've started doing. I just don't have the money for them right now and honestly, things are still so messy and unpacked for various reasons, I can't justify getting many things lately.

That said, I love the Christmas merch a lot and still wish Mega Audino would be included because I think their design lends so well to the Christmas season.

The Christmas Pikachu from last year still has to be one of my favorite Pikachu plushies or all-time.

I thought I'd share photos of my office! It's very appropriately decorated for the season.

Every year my boyfriend (in late November) give each other an ornament & a pokemon card and usually they're christmas themed or winter looking cards. :)

and then of course some of the stuff we get each other for actual christmas is pokemon.
