Hello, I draw and paint Sugimori inspired fanart with actual watercolours. It's challenging to work with, but I think the results are worth it.

To accompany the GBA sprite of Cubone, I made a digital illustration of it as well. I think I translated it well. While I was drawing Cubone, Mega Victreebel was announced, so I got to it right after. I had trouble drawing the vine, so I have to practice on that one. While not my favourite design, I can appreciate the goofy appearance of the new Mega.

The final round of our Pokémon TCG Pocket tournament was a fierce showdown in which each of the five finalists had to face each other. In the end, @nerradlife emerged as the ultimate winner! Thank youI want to sincerely thank all of the participants — I wasn't sure how many people would join our inaugural tournament, or if we'd even be able to hold one, but we had a great showing. I believe all matches were able to be completed too. So thank you to everyone who took part! Really appreciate the great sportsmanship we saw. I also want to say a huge thank you to @Teo and @Zachery for helping organize the tournament. This definitely could not have happened without their help! Potential changes based on the first tournamentI think there are some changes we might make for future tournaments: Have participants vote on a single win-or-lose match or best-of-three match style for battles Try to organize some streaming of matches if that's something people would be interested in Make rules clearer based on questions that came in during the tournament Encourage people to set avatars so that we can use them in any graphics (a lot of Sewaddles this time!) And we're also very open to feedback so that we can make things as fun as possible. Congratulations to nerradlife and let's hope we can put on another tournament before the year ends!

So, I still keep thinking about this randomly (in which I clearly can't narrow it down to one), but I also think Porygon-2 having Porygon Z be a split evolution where maybe it could have a proper Porygon 3 would be neat too.

Much to my surprise (I could probably count shinies I've found randomly across every single game on one hand), I actually found a Shiny Swirlix in Z-A! While I prefer normal Slurpuff colors overall, I always liked the shiny one too because it makes me think of an ice cream sundae.

Hello! It's nice to meet all of you! 🦔 My name is Cepheus, or Ceph, and I am a long time Pokemon fan. My main love is the Pokemon TCG; I've been collecting since I was probably 5 or 6 and my grandmother bought me some cards at a garage sale. I've fallen out of it a few times over the years, but I always find myself coming back. I used to play a ton, but am mostly collecting at the moment. I am currently really enjoying going through bulk and finding amazing artwork and collecting the "simple" cards that give me joy. I don't play the games as much as I would like. I think the last one that I actually finished was Moon. I do buy the new ones and play them a bit, but I haven't been too serious about them. I'm hoping to change that when the next generation comes out. I'm not great at conversing, but as you can see, I can yap. I'll most likely just be lurking and rarely popping in here and there. I'm trying to get more out of my comfort zone. My absolute favorite Pokemon is Shroomish and my current avatar is Luca, my Espeon/Spiritomb pokésona.

I've actually played some ZA and really like it! The battling system is pretty difficult for me, but it's fun! :)

hi! i want to try being more active here which means subjecting the rest of you to my art. abandon all hope ye who enter here and all that. most of my pokemon art revolves around a couple characters i've made, so i'll start with brief summaries and some kinda-recent pictures. feel free to ask me anything about them, i've been working on both for Literal years now. this is alto. he's a ghost-type specialist who was raised in alola, but moved to hoenn when he was around 10. his life is a little rough, but things turn out okay. i ran a tumblr ask blog featuring him (but mostly his dusknoir) while i was in high school. good times. team: gengar, mimikyu, shedinja, banette (shiny), dusknoir, sableye left is from august 2017 (yikes!), right is from june 2024 the other "main" oc i have is kerberos, my self-insert (basically me but older and buffer and a Criminal! wahoo!). originally from unova, moved to sinnoh as an adult, and went on the run from the law soon after the events of platinum. never Officially a team galactic employee but close enough to be in frequent contact with the commanders. cyrus gets Very annoyed by them. team: beheeyem, drapion, magnezone, porygon-z, dusknoir (shiny) left is from july 2023, right is from may 2024 (the watermarks are for my art accounts on social media)

Now that there's official 2D art of it, you can see all the tiny mistkakes I made with this, but still thanks anyway. I took some creative liberties with Charmeloens's back spikes. I saw it in other fan art and wanted to draw it myself. It builds on Charmander's gen 1 spike and I personally like the idea where they'll eventually form Charizard's wings. Hello to everyone here! I’m - big fan of pokemon (of course) and I’m very interested to see how this goes! I personally like to complete the pokedex in each game, and I’m currently working on creating a living dex for every generation with as few hacks as I can. I collect the games too, just so I can play the older gens on their original hardware. I collect other old games and tech in general too. I also enjoy writing, and I’ve been getting in to art. I love to see other peoples creations as well.

I am really hoping they do! It would honestly be really great to see all Mega Evolutions added in honor of Legends: Z-A. I'd like to use Mega Absol or Beedrill. Corbeau is very tempting to replace Brassius for me.... may have to swap out for awhile.

If they add Mega Audino, which I don't expect to happen because Mega Audino is the mega that is the most shafted of all time, I may finally change my icon from my Mii... maybe.

Hi, guys! I’m brand new here. I came for the TCGP tournament, but I’m totally staying for the community.

I very excited and happy to be able to welcome Pokémon fans back to the official forum of the PokéJungle website, Mt. Moon Community! First started way back in 2006, we ultimately closed it and transitioned to a forum that was simply "PokéJungle Forums". But I think we lost a lot of uniqueness in that move and, ultimately, our forums closed with the continued popularity of social media sites which hosted discussions that would have previously taken place on forums. Over the years, I had really wanted to bring back Mt. Moon but I had let the domain lapse and it got taken by domain squatters. I would still periodically check if it had been released though, and, to my great happiness, I could reclaim mountmoon.net. Yes, I know I could have found a similar domain, but this feels like reclaiming a piece of the forum's 10-year history. Is this 2005? Why do we need a Pokémon forum?It seemed like social media was really the evolution of the forum — you could make friends across the platforms and weren't confined to primarily interest-based websites, didn't have to register for a gazillion forums, could easily share short-form content and images and they were ultimately just very convenient. But I think it is getting clearer and clearer that platforms controlled by some of the world's wealthiest people are ultimately not making the internet a better place. Whether that's through the spread of misinformation, the pushing of controversial content to generate engagement or arbitrary enforcement of rules on their users, no social media platform has really come out looking good. Today, some seem extremely detrimental. That's why I believe that forums are a good option for people to use to discuss Pokémon or anything else. Mt. Moon Community is still evolvingJust like a Clefairy, Mt. Moon still has room to grow and evolve. Please have fun, be respectful and let us know any feedback you have so we can continue to improve! Hi! I'm new here and finally get around to posting an introduction 😅 I go by the username boyfrillish online, but just calling me Frillish (he/him) is fine! Pokémon has been a forever fandom for me pretty much since it arrived over here in Germany, even with the occasional not always voluntary break (my longest, of about 5 years, ended in summer '22 when I finally finished the Alola games and in the same year allowed myself to buy a switch, to catch up the games since SwSh and it's honestly the best thing I did. Pokémon main series remains a big "feeling home" for me). My absolute most favourites are B2W2, SwSh and Z-A quickly shot up the ranks because it just clicked with my brain. Big shoutout too to the Johto games too, but really I'd say for me pretty much none of the main series is lower than A tier. Honestly I have way too many favourite Pokémon, like Sylveon & Eevee & all Eeveelutions, Frillish & Jellicent (my username may give that one away lol) Corviknight and it's pre evolutions, Mimikyu, Popplio and it's evolutions, Espurr & Meowstic, ... chances are any Pokémon I look at has me cry from affection haha I love, love having both a mix of my major faves and Pokémon I haven't really used before on my teams and get attached to them quick. Deciding on my team gets harder and harder and I cry every time. Aside from the Pokémon themselves, I also have a big love for the human characters, especially the male protagonists and rivals. I like to write fanfiction and I keep telling myself I'll pick up drawing again... one of these days, I'll surely get to it. Like many others here, I grew fatigued of social media over the years and started missing all the great aspects from the times when forums and stuff were more popular, like not being dependent on algorithms, lurking not being discouraged or even made impossible, old topics being easy to find again or discover anew, joining the conversation whenever you have the time or energy, ... it did take me a bit to actually come in and join some communities around, but better late than never as the saying goes! I can't really think of much else to say so I'll end the rambling for now lol I look forward to my time here and it's nice to meet everyone!

Ooh, so jealous! Sounds like a lot of fun! Definitely picking this up at some point -- I'm most curious to see how it plays compared to the Gamecube title that I spent so much time playing during childhood haha

Hiiii!!! I'm Ari but also will use Jira / Reverie. I have a million monikers. Late 20s, and He/Him or They/them. But ummm I've been into pokemon basically since i was existent. Only really got to play it gen 5 onwards. And started shiny hunting in sun and moon and then got super into that aspect a bit more recently. First shiny was a Kakuna from double patches in bw :3, and I wasnt 100% sure i saw it correctly. Someone had broke my ds in a way that made everything a yellower tone. Very glad i caught it still. I have like 60%ish in my shiny living dex and most my legendaries have been caught with crazy circumstances. I should do a video explaining those, that could be fun. OH SPEAKING OF VIDEOS! I do amv type stuff/ shiny vids on youtube @ GlaiveRush ah some of the stuff on there is amvs for M rated games so like No Minors on those ones. [[Edited to add yt acc link]]

Five hours attempting to hunt in the Savannah Biome, gave up and started breeding for it, 219 eggs later and I got it!

I’m going to be hunting shiny Fennekin both for fall (the shiny fox makes me think of witchy Halloween) and in prep for ZA next week. Here’s hoping I can find it in time!

Moon Ball complete loving it... What to make next I wonder

I made the post below when I was very young. I think I am exaggerating some, don't really remember, but I do remember the incident. There was a specific Diamond & Pearl Set with NosePass and for FOREVER that's all I would pull. IM TIRED OF FINDING THIS ABOMINATION...every time I open up a pack of cards. I usually buy...like 1 or 2, a week, somtimes less depends on how much money i get and each time i get a nosepass. Well 2/3 of the time. Does anyone esle have this problem? I dont know if its the packs im buying or what. I get so mad to when I find it, i have so many i could make a deck out of them. One time I opened a pack and got 2 of him. idk if its a manufacturing thing or what.. Most of the cards I have of him are about a year or two old, cuz most of them say 2008 at the bottom, Is there someone out there who would like all the cards i have of this pokemon? I think he's weird its my most hated pokemon in the wwooorrrld and it intimidated me in that one gym in ruby and sapphire had one of those....things. It's not even a pokemon its a thing. Most of his cards are not that strong on the cards. But my main question is....do any of you guys find alot of nosepass cards? Please tell me i hope im not the only one end of rant, but answer my question >.< shame on nintendo giving it an evolution ^^

I just realized MMC is back! I was one of the admins of the original MMC 20(?!) years ago, so it was a pleasant surprise when I stumbled on the site this morning. Some things about me: My first game was Pokémon Yellow Version and I was obsessed. When I was a kid I ran a small site called Pokémon Sky which was a great creative outlet for me. It was never huge but I learned so much about web content and development. MMC was a big part of my life back then. I didn't realize it, but that was going to shape the rest of my life haha. In my teens, I became more involved in the entertainment industry as a whole and started contributing to some fandom-centric outlets like MuggleNet. A lot of the friends I made there went on to found a site called Hypable which was a pretty big fandom destination for years. In college I founded a news organization that covered the young adult publishing industry. I did that for a decade — producing podcasts, covering news, attending publishing events and book cons, interviewing authors and working with the major publishing houses. I "retired" from book journalism two years ago. I write books and am nearing completion on a sci-fi/fantasy novel I've been hacking away at for 9 years (re-wrote it three times and am on the sixth draft). Hoping to finish it up this summer. Continued playing Pokémon throughout it all. :) Pokémon Favorites: Pokémon HeartGold Johto's my favorite, probably for nostalgic reasons Legends Arceus is my favorite of the newer games Can never decide between Umbreon, Cyndaquil and Snorlax Always back and forth between Mew and Celebi as my favorite mythical can you tell i'm partial to the earlier generations? lol but in reality there's a lot to like about the newer games These days I'm working in the news publishing industry and am frustrated by the decisions publishers have made during the last couple of decades. Like it's already been suggested here, everyone gave all their power to platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Google. Now content creators are paying the price for it as algorithms are manipulated and these companies cannibalize content by feeding it to AI and spitting it out in automated summaries. I've thought a lot about the old MMC during the last few years. I've missed those days. I feel like we content creators became so obsessed with growing traffic and making our sites as big as can be and we lost community and fostering positive connections in the process. I'm more nostalgic than ever for smaller communities. World domination sucks, friends are better. Ok, I'm off my soap box. 😅 Excited to see what comes of this and get to know you all!

hi, everyone! i wasnt on the old MMC, but i thought it seemed pretty interesting when i got the ping in the discord, so i wanted to check it out. my name is ash (i will also answer to umbreon) and ive been a pokémon fan siiiiiince the 6-8 age range, i wanna say? im 20 now, so its been awhile! my favorite pokémon, as you can probably tell, is umbreon! shiny umbreon, to be specific. i dont really remember why that is, ive just been attached to it for years! my second favorite pokémon is pikachu, mostly because ive always been a HUGE fan of the pokémon anime! ash and pikachu were my favorite characters growing up, and they still mean a lot to me now. my favorite type is electric, with dark and fairy coming in at second and third. i honestly love every type and all of the pokémon within them... ive always loved the idea of every pokémon being someones favorite! the first pokémon game i played was soul silver on my older brothers blue DSI, i would always take it from him to play it even though i had no idea what was going on. the starter he chose was cyndaquil, so its one of my favorite starters now along with oshawott! my first game that was actually mine was pokémon platinum. gen 4 is super nostalgic to me thanks to those games being my introduction to the franchise! my favorite games now are explorers of sky and moon! the characters and story in both of those games really mean a lot to me. for gameplay alone, i had the most fun with legends arceus. i expect to have a lot of fun with legends Z-A, too! im going to end this here before i ramble too much, it can be pretty hard for me to stop talking about pokémon once i get started since its my biggest interest ever. im looking forward to talking about it more with you all!
