  1. There's one pokemon I can think of whose color has been very inconsistent over the years: bulbasaur. He's blue. . .he's green. . .he's back to blue. . oh wait he's green again. In Go he's VERY green and could be mistaken for being shiny. I am really annoyed because he looks soooo much better with the bluer tone.
  2. Definitely Emerald! Fighting both Team Aqua and Magma improved the story driven conflict drasticly. You feel much more involved in it than just fighting with one team. The added Pokémon animations brought a lot of life into Hoenn as well and don't get me started on the Battle Frontier. Overall probably my favourite game in the entire series.
  3. 100% Pokemon Platinum. SOOOOO many memories. I actually have 3 copies of that game. One to play through, one for breeding, and one for competitive (my original saved file) Sooo many late nights playing Platinum. Good times :)
  4. I have the best memories of White 2. I preordered it from GameStop and got a Keldeo poster as a preorder bonus that is sadly lost to time. I have a vivid memory of getting home with the game for the first time and sitting on my floor to play instead of my bed for some reason because I was so excited. Played the crap out of that file, my favorite place in game has gotta be Village Bridge. I ended up losing the cartridge on vacation sadly… still not over that lol
  5. I would be happy to host another, just let me know :)
  6. As posted in discord... For now, love ball WILL be the next ball... But gonna break from the balls and gonna print out a legendary but not sure which one yet... I've got 4 in mind just not sure which.... dropping color pallets and let's see which one wins
  7. A rushed Cubone and a custom GBA sprite.
  8. So, I have a bit of sad news, my Pocket Pikachu developed a crack in the hinge a few months ago, which has now developed into a full break. As a temporary solution, I have duct taped the broken hinge in the hope I can carry it through the last 100,000 steps of my challenge. But when I woke up this morning I noticed that the second hinge had a hairline crack in it, and I simply cannot risk taking it out attached to my belt anymore, it's too risky. My next step is to attach it to some card to keep it upright, and keep it inside my pocket for the rest of the challenge. Someone on Bluesky suggested this, and it feels like the safest option. If it does break, I at least have the assurance that it won't be lost outside somewhere. I am heading out shortly, so I can see how effective this works. The device is more than 25 years old now. It likely wasn't built to last this long. My hope is that this Pocket Pikachu will see one million steps, and then perhaps I can buy another junk device and swap out the back so it may live on for another adventure somewhere down the line. I know a few users here have a Pocket Pikachu, so I would ask you to check the hinge from underneath. If you see any black lines, consider that your warning!
