It brings back memories of my teenage years, when online communities felt more human and engaging. Back then, I even ran a forum called "Pokémon Splash," where I met some of my dearest friends! I’ve seen others say it already, and I wholeheartedly agree: building meaningful communities on mainstream social media has become nearly impossible, given the tyranny of algorithms, oligarchic platform owners, and the overwhelming spread of passively generated AI content.
