If you had this idea while playing Blue/Red/Yellow, you were predicting what would happen in the second generation 😁 Regarding me, I thought you had to start the game over if you lost a battle against a Gym Leader! I remember I was playing Pokémon Yellow, and I was against Blaine, but I lost because I had no Water Pokémon in my team at that moment. I lost and I began to cry, but then I found out that this was not real, so I started screaming with joy! So many emotions during that day 😂

I'm currently playing Pokémon Shield, on my quest to complete the entire Pokédex ✨

I was concerned that Ash was no longer part of the anime. As someone who grew up watching the first episodes of the series on television as a child, I wasn’t sure how I would respond to a new protagonist, although we can all agree that we couldn't pretend any longer that Ash was still a 10-year-old boy after 25 years 💀 Instead, I must say I like this series! ☺️ Initially, I noticed some dynamics I didn’t like much, such as the protagonist being the stereotypical insecure girl reliant on other people’s opinions of her, and the co-protagonist being the usual kid with no sense of reality (screaming at Rayquaza that you want to battle him with your Fuecoco?!). However, they develop significantly throughout the story, with much deeper messages than in the previous seasons - e.g., the importance of expressing emotions, respecting people's needs, the idea that one can do great things only together with friends and not alone, and so on. I just saw the first episodes available on Netflix, and for me this anime is a great “yes”! ✨
