Here’s how it will work: Sign upTo join the tournament, reply to this thread confirming your participation. Please include your TCGP friend code. Match PairingsSubscriptions for the tournament will remain open until August 5. On that day, we will publish the pairings in a dedicated thread and tag you so that you receive a notification. Match FormatThe tournament follows a single-elimination format, so losing a match means being out of the tournament, and winning means progressing to the next round. Pokémon Yellow and Pokémon Emerald are my two absolute favourite games in the series. It's really hard for me to decide which one takes the top spot: Yellow was my first Pokémon game, but it's with Emerald that I've spent an embarrassing amount of hours playing. However, if I really have to choose, I'd pick Emerald 💚 I still remember getting it from a friend in exchange for some Pokémon cards. I was 12 years old, almost twenty years ago 🥹

OMG yes 😂 But I see your point, @Zachery! In fact, while I enjoyed battling against eight more Gyms in the same game, they felt more like a "side-quest". Since your Pokémon's level is usually relatively high at that stage in the game, you end up earning around 4 Kanto badges in an hour, losing some of the excitement that you experience during your first Gym battles. So, I partly agree: the GSC post-game is a bit overrated, though still good and enjoyable!

I constantly changed my favourite Pokémon type while growing up. I loved Electric-type as a child, then I shifted more towards Dragon-type, and now I'm totally into Grass-type 💚 I also recently completed a Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu run with only Grass-type Pokémon (essentially all those from Gen 1, haha). This should show you how much I currently love this type 😆🌱 Also, most of my favourite Pokémon are Grass-type! Here are some of my favourites ✨ This is so cute 💜 Considering that I usually change my favourite type of Pokémon over time, Fairy is definitely the one that will probably take the Grass-type's current 1st spot in my heart 🏆

Totally agree. Especially for certain types like Normal, I always found those gems a bit exaggerated 😕 I'd love to see the "bonds mechanic" expanded upon in greater detail in future games! I already love that a Pokémon can recover from certain status conditions because of the affection it has towards you, but I would also like this to be expanded to other game mechanics 🌱

I find this "Ditto human form" adorable 😂 And I really like this new "Animal Crossing-style" game! I'm also pleased that it's not the typical free-to-play game for smartphones 📱 And the new Mega Evolutions are fantastic! I'm particularly fond of this witchy Delphox 🧙✨

I finished all three titles in the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy yesterday. I believe that, along with Pokémon Yellow, these are among the games I've played the most times ever. Every time I play them, I recall all the moments I experienced as a child, along with, of course, the frustration of the aerial circuits that still challenge me even twenty years later 😵💫 Furthermore, the skateboarding levels will always be my favourites 🛹 So I wanted to share with you the joy of finally completing all three games 100% for the first time 🏆 It would be wonderful if Activision and Insomniac chose to continue this series, although based on the latest news I've read, it appears there is little hope for it... Have you ever played this series? 🐉
